Harry - Just shut up.

Dear Harry

Please shut up and stop forcing your alleged reality on to everyone else.

Every second born child knows they are the spare - try being the second girl after a first daughter. You know they wanted a boy - you are no different, yours is just on a bigger scale.

Your wife was probably suffering from "baby blues" post natal depression - not because your family were allegedly crucifying her. Hell I am the hard nosed bitch from hell, who sat on the bathroom floor and bawled my eyes out because DS1 nappy would not stay on and I had a poonami. I also cried just sitting on the sofa in the middle of the day.

You wanted to make money from the monarchy on your terms and the Queen said no. You either work for the monarchy but you dont get to pick and choose the bits you want - you get to be patron of the runny poo society aswell as the glory ones that get the glamour.

You are an out and out relentless bully. Attacking your brother and family, knowing they will not rise to your lies and insults. There may be an element of truth to the odd thing you claim but you know what families do not air their dirty laundry in public - like you are trying to do.

Diana was also William's mother -you do not own her and her memory. He has feelings emotions and was hurt just like you. Respect your mothers memory and your brothers feelings .

The world gets you and your wife think you will be a better King and Queen, your jealousy knows no bounds. Do you not get the Queen, you are insulting the Queen every time you open your mouth - yet you claim to love her. I am just grateful she passed away before you unleashed this vindictive hell on her - this would surely have killed her.

Please go and do what you said you wanted - have some privacy, raise your beautiful children without the hatred you so obviously harbour, from both your privileged upbringings.

Do you want Lilibet, to do this to Archie and you in 30 years time?

Just shut up now and I hope the RF ( of whom I am not a fan) never apologise to you because what you are doing is far nastier, calculated and vindictive. I now want William to be King ( which I never did) - just to stick it in your face.

Please shut up

You’ve stated a lot of ‘facts’ that are your opinion

and then talked about how he needs to let go of this hatred, when you are filed with enough hatred to go online and call a stranger nasty and vindictive, tell them to shut up and to wish they never have a relationship with their family again.

im not a royalist or a H&M fan but I’m finding it really odd how people are approaching this.

This!!!!

No there are one or two on another thread I'm on about Spare. One says she's an author and literary critic and can't praise the book, its author and subject highly enough.

It's amusing to read.

It's probably Bryony Gordon

@lookluv, look love, have you donated 1.4 million pounds for AIDS victims in the last 3 days? Harry's book had significantly changed thousands of people's lives by his donating much of the profits to charity.

You're actually acting as though he's evil, have you even read the book? Or are you just reading the Daily Mail and the Sun's vitriolic and out of context spin on it?

It's a very good book and I'm very impressed with Harry's thoughtful writing. The royal family are spoken about with sensitivity and love. I have more respect for Charles after reading this book than before I read it.

So if I (as in purpledalmation) wrote the most violent, mysoginist, racist, hate filled book of all time and for some weird reason it sold in millions and I donated a large proportion to charity, does that make my book a worthy project?

Would Stoke Manderville hospital have accepted money from Jimmy Saville if they had known the truth?

There is such a thing as tainted money.

namechanged221 · 14/01/2023 17:45

@purpledalmation
But it's not violent or misogynistic though?

Have you read it?

It’s not violent, I’ll give you that. Although perhaps the Taliban killing …

AutumnCrow · 14/01/2023 17:46

I go back years on this site, and have often stated that I would prefer that the UK to be a republic with an ex-monarchy, the process carried out decently through the public will and parliamentary will when the time is right. And I lost a lot of respect for and patience with the late Queen over the Andrew shitshow. (Like she would care, I know ...).

Anyway I think that Harry has just pushed a potential republic way, way into the future because what he is doing, far from damaging the monarchy at its heart, is arousing a wave of sympathy in the UK for the King and the Waleses that wasn't there before and strengthening the symbolism of the hereditary sovereign. Twat.

namechanged221 · 14/01/2023 17:47

@purpledalmation you're comparing Prince Harry to a pedophile criminal who raped hundreds of vulnerable children.

Are you ok?

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 14/01/2023 17:50

People have lost their minds over this man.

Blossomtoes · 14/01/2023 17:51

That’s a pretty fair summary @AutumnCrow. Obviously, as a monarchist, I’m delighted. 😄

Alltheprettyseahorses · 14/01/2023 17:53

Why is the money from his book being compared to Savile and his words twisted into bizarre fantasies? Absolutely cuckoo!

It's not mandatory to read Spare or pay the slightest bit of attention to any of the stories. I'm happily going through my life ignoring it. Try not buying it, spending hours googling and clicking on the Daily Hate headlines carefully crafted to whip you into a righteous froth or going through the TV schedules to make sure you don't miss anything that might mention it. Be honest, you're loving the chance to be part of a frenzied mob against a vaguely dull man you don't know. It's like football hooliganism for the internet age.

And yet both of you have clicked your way through a thread saying shut up harry. If you're not paying attention to the book and the stories, why did you even open up this thread?

Astonishing, isn’t it?

theworldhas · 14/01/2023 18:05

The only thing wrong with Harry is that, despite clearly thinking that there’s an awful lot wrong with the current manifestation of the Royal Family, he still seems to think that inherited monarchy is a good idea. If he could just get the whole hog to understanding that the whole thing of a hereditary monarchy is idiotic and bizarre for a 21st century democracy, he might then find that a lot of his mental hang ups about his mother, being a spare, Meghan not being welcomed/understood by this crazily out of touch aristocratic bubble etc etc would quickly resolve themselves. He’s trying to scrape off bits of mould when the fruit is rotten to the core.

Ontopofthesunset · 14/01/2023 18:20

Some of us are clicking through these threads because we're astonished at the extraordinary enthusiasm of so many people to do the tabloids' will and get caught up in a frenzy of anger and outrage against the Sussexes.

I mean, I'm a republican, but I think the monarchy is deeply cruel to those within the institution and these threads just reinforce why we should get rid of it for their sake, as well as ours.

In any other world, the story of a boy who grew up in an unhappy marriage, lost his mother in hideous and public circumstances, was sent away to boarding school, saw active combat in the army, and all the time found his every relationship or minor misdemeanour public knowledge would garner sympathy. Anyone of those things could cause trauma. There are numerous books and accounts written about boarding school survivors, childhood bereavement, growing up with divorce, and no one complains that the people who write these are whinging.

It's in active along with approx 8339021000540000 other threads on the same subject, full of posters trying to outdo each other with crackpot hyperbole. Savile! It's getting a bit boring now.

yorkshirepudsx 😉 the dog threads are honestly far more reasonable and civil at this point.

The title is "shut up harry" on the RF board. You can see all that on the active threads. You knew what this thread was about. So why open it if your studiously ignoring everything to do with the book? Why write such a long post?
If you're really not interested block the RF board for a few days. I bet you won't do that though because you like reading about Harry.

And actually out of 50 active threads, just two were about the RF. So go read one of the other 48 if you're really not interested. 😏
