I'm about a third of the way through the book and he hasn't slated his family. Hes very complimentary about a lot of people especially Chelsey. He absolutely hates the mainstream media and ii dont blame him for that.

Have read it. It's an awful, awful book full of innaccuracies, lies, and endless whining from an immature drug addict with insecurity issues. Honestly, it was painful trying to get through such tripe.

Delusions of grandeur* thinking he’s going to ‘fix the Monarchy’ and ‘save his family from themselves’. His dad did similar when he was older wrote a book telling how bad it was in the royal family growing up he changed things for his sons and still failed I have no real issue with the book (although it seems a lot more Jeremy Kyle than I would like with the stories about his penis) his interviews discussing his brothers children I have issues with his whining about money I have issue with his blatant half truths I have some issue with somethings yes could be honest mistakes but others? I posted on the other thread, I genuinely believe he has narcissistic personality disorder.

I think he is lapping up the attentions he is getting. He feels he is incredibly important, the saying his book is of historical significance, that he is saving the monarchy, that he wanted to help raise Charlotte and Louis to stop them being treated the same. I would normally not diagnose someone, but this is text book.

He should have gone away for a good long while and properly sorted his head out instead of taking yet more drugs and falling into navel gazing with ‘therapy’ which really doesn’t seem to be working. He desperately needed to have got stuck into doing something of value, IMO. With emphasis on the doing instead of thinking/talking. and the irony is that the reason this book is so popular is the same reason the not always true/accurate scandal papers (e.g.daily mail) type papers are also very popular.

Everyone loves a bit of gossip and it sells, the very sort of media coverage H&M were complaining about. They are no better than the journalists they criticise.

To form a reasoned opinion we need to hear both sides of the story. Even serial killers are entitled to a fair trial!!
My guess is the whole root of all this starts with Meghan and Kate didn't hit it off. That's not really anyone's fault, some people automatically click with someone, others don't. M&K are just very different personalities.
On the basis of this, Harry seems to have taken every perceived slight from his entire 38 years on earth and blown them all up massively to make his family look like horrible people. I have a close relative who did this, blowing up normal sibling childhood fall outs into much more than they were. It transpired that this relative had significant mental health and alcohol problems.
Nobody can really takes sides in this until we hear the RFs side of it and that I highly unlikely to happen

No he really hasn't - it's the acres of malevolent spin and distortion by the press feeding into the mob and then reflected back in their dirty cracked mirror. The book is a warm acknowledgment of the love both his mother and Pa and gran and his brother all had for each other. It really is. You just won't get that from the Mail et al.
