Did POW have an affair?

Don't reply if you're a Will and Kate sycophant who believes they walk on water. They get favourable PR these days. I find Harry and Meghan irritating but I heard Harry got bad PR in order to distract from William's alleged affair. I remember reading about Rose Hanbury so wonder if there could be some truth in this.

Perhaps Kate is every bit as ambitious as Meghan and turns a blind eye so one day she can be Queen.

@purpledalmation
No doubt you think that 'the affair' is lies and rumour. Yet you're happy to promulgate the idea that M&H was friendly with GC so join the dots. (i.e. you are suggesting in a veiled way that they started this because they know him). Can't you see that is hypocritical?
Decrying a lie/rumour, whilst promoting another one by saying GC was friendly with M&H.

I really don't think the Monarchy would fall if it were true! Hardly likely, given it's the norm within the RF. Please note... I said if.

notanotheroneagain · 25/02/2023 10:20

Wait, are posters trying to pin this in MM?

Giles is not friends with MM, nor did he start the rumour. It was doing the rounds with the Norfolk set who are K&W and Rose's friends. He merely confirmed it. Then deleted it as a 'joke'.

Why on earth would H write about it in his book anyway. It has nothing to do with him unless a certain event was triggered by it - by that I mean an example of H&W fight over W doing what Charles did to Diana. So him not mentioning it in his book is not proof that it never took place.

Also ridiculous that posters think the bm would report on this if it took place. They have been protecting W non stop since MM came on the scene.

ThighMistress · 25/02/2023 10:21

But, Roussette, they were hobnobbing in Amsterdam and Meghan and Giles Coren are well-known Soho Housers.

Pretty bloody awful if Harry was gossiping about his brothers private business to GC. Yet another betrayal if true. What horrible men they both are.

And there we have it.

Someone on here makes a suggestion... oooh Giles Coren knew M&H. Next minute they were the ones that started it.

That is exactly what I mean.

Exactly!

Honestly... Meghan is responsible for everything bad, absolutely everything

So, the RUMOUR that William had an affair was - according to you - most likely started by Meghan. Which is another RUMOUR.

Selective rumour spreading there.

Plitvice · 25/02/2023 10:24

😮Oh, the barefaced cheek of people who join up the dots every time!

Let's all get together and nip it in the bud squaddies! 🤐

Tbf, one was paid for services to Soho, the other paid Soho for their services.

I was a member for a short while but it was definitely not for me!

What is a squaddie, are we on Army talk now?

There are a lot of people on here absolutely incensed by the rumour William had an affair. Yet, hypocritically, want to spread a rumour that M&H started said rumour.

I can only laugh at the hypocrisy.

As I said... selective rumour mongering. I think I will use that as a tagline on here.

purpledalmation · 25/02/2023 09:27

@Roussette No one has said the Sussex couple suggested this lie be spread by Coran. However in the interests of disclosure it's only fair to point out that he may have had a bias towards a couple he and his wife were friendly with?

Why he put out a tweet, then (not quick enough apparently) deleted it is a mystery. Personally I don't think William is stupid enough to have an affair. He is media savvy and can see what it did to his fathers reputation. He want's eventually to be king. Why shit on his own doorstep and risk the monarchy falling?

What nonsense .

Charles has showed the way .

Kate - avoid tunnels

Hahaha... my username? I am actually laughing out loud at you not knowing any French and thinking it's a Russian connection, thanks for the laugh... seriously I mean that!
I have kept my name for over a decade. Unlike you. Who has reinvented yourself in the last couple of days with a new name and plenty of PAs.

Are you a wine drinker? Obviously not. Roussette de Savoie is a very nice white wine, you ought to try it, it might make your thoughts clearer. If you want a link, let me know.

As for the Squaddie comment, I'll just treat that with the derision it deserves.

VixenTodd · 25/02/2023 11:09

Thanks for the advice about wine giving you clear thinking. Based on your posting, I'll be sticking to water.

Seriously.... if you want the link for the most delicious white wine, just let me know. Happy to oblige.

Off to play with my russian doll now, and look up some recipes for Borscht if I can get hold of beetroot
😂🤣

I think the complete opposite, especially given family form for it.

You don't know his personality any more than I do. It would just seem to be another nail in the coffin for the monarchy and as it's his future...

Roussette · 24/02/2023 19:38

Honestly, I'd be more surprised if he gets to the end of a long life in his position and hasn't had the odd fling at some point but it's hardly a deal breaker for a marriage which works in all the other ways for someone in their position.

I agree

What is the norm for his father and possibly (please note I said 'possibly') his Grandfather.
There's a lot of forgiving within the RF.

and amongst the royalists on MN which in another context they would be ripped to shreds and rightly so. Amazing the whitewashing a crown brings to the debate.

Samcro · 25/02/2023 12:06

love the way folks are trying their hardest to blame Meghan.
always the same.

Howsimplywonderful · 25/02/2023 12:14

The Soho house links have been around for ages. I’m sure it’s been posted on here before and is equally credible to the ‘my friend’s mother’s cousins next door neighbour knows an under gardener in Norfolk’ theories which seem to be taken as fact

If you think of soho house as a ‘rival court’, then someone in that court could have thought it a wonderful idea (not necessary H&M themselves and not necessarily a true rumour ) to take W&K down a peg, and use the jester Giles Coren to do it - can anyone tell I’ve been listening to too many history podcasts

we know all Meghan’s friend love to help her without her knowing anything about her (per people article 🤣) so perhaps her and Harry were in the dark

I see your user name comes from a type of wine and Meghan's blog The Tig also is inspired by a type of wine: coincidence...?

Good grief hahaha, well done on the conspiracy theory, love it! off to pop a bottle of Roussette de Savoie in the fridge ready for the rugby

You lot are driving me to drink 😅

There is plenty of insinuation on here to that. They knew Giles, they were friendly with him, Amsterdam, GC tweeted he had a drink with M&H, GC has a bias towards M&H, and plenty more.
This is the way unfounded rumours start isn't it? But this is a rumour about a rumour lol

I am finding it quite funny actually
