Did POW have an affair?

Don't reply if you're a Will and Kate sycophant who believes they walk on water. They get favourable PR these days. I find Harry and Meghan irritating but I heard Harry got bad PR in order to distract from William's alleged affair. I remember reading about Rose Hanbury so wonder if there could be some truth in this.

Perhaps Kate is every bit as ambitious as Meghan and turns a blind eye so one day she can be Queen.

Christ, I thought you meant a prisoner of war! Since when has POW been understood to mean Prince of Wales?

I couldn’t care less if he did. But I hope all this Harry hoo ha does at least highlight the grubby side of monarchy, and the fact they are no better than the rest of us.

Yes I know he can't keep his trap shut for more than 5 seconds but perhaps in this case he is legally bound to do so. I read that he said they were "thrown under a bus to make William look good."

Yes he did. There’s 1) an injunction on it (why else would there be??) 2) I remember when it broke it hit some papers abroad then they all disappeared from the world, was surreal.

Pippa Middleton called her baby Rose a few years ago. Don’t think she’d have done that if her bil was having an affair with someone of the same name.

I wouldn’t call my DD the name of someone my BIL was rumoured to have had an affair with either; or someone who my sister had fallen out with (that bit is definitely true at least) so I’m not sure the name is any clue. Perhaps it was Pippa’s long held baby name.

The 'gossip magazines', as their name suggests, were just recycling the same vague rumours that are freely discussed here, without some royal censor swooping in and disappearing it all. It's not like they have any evidence or anything.

Kind of like how people refer to all the articles in the 'foreign press' but can somehow never link to any when asked.

As I say, I haven't a clue whether William had an affair or not, but claiming there's been some big hush up while the 'foreign press' discusses the story is silly.

this same old bit of gossip about PW is wheeled out.

It’s so regular and it’s so boring now that if it turned out to be true I’d be a bit meh and then get on with my life.

What does “legally bound” actually mean? It isn’t magic - it can’t actually stop Harry talking - it just means that he would be punished afterwards.

But how would you punish Harry? Fine him? But he has lots of money so can pay for expensive lawyers who will argue his case. And get it in the public eye even more. And if necessary he could just pay the fine. I guess you could put him in prison. But Charles probably wouldn’t be keen on that idea.

If Harry wanted to tell everyone about William’s affair then he would. Even if the publishers got cold feet then he could choose to self publish. Or put it on a website. Or announce it in an interview.

And it would fit his narrative beautifully. For whatever reason he seems to want to really damage William at the moment. And being a cheater just like evil Dad (unlike Harry and his true love match with Meghan) would be very damaging indeed.

The fact that he hasn’t makes me think that there was no affair.
