I find Harry and Meghan irritating but I heard Harry got bad PR in order to distract from William's alleged affair. I remember reading about Rose Hanbury so wonder if there could be some truth in this.

Perhaps Kate is every bit as ambitious as Meghan and turns a blind eye so one day she can be Queen.

Camilla attended a luncheon with untold dozens or maybe even hundreds at the invitation of the F&M owner. A few days later an attendee says something awful about his wishes for Meghan (but not a vile marital rumor) and team Sussex it’s suddenly Camilla’s luncheon, Camilla’s friend, Camilla’s fault.

H&M hang out with a guy and he immediately prints an awful, made up accusation designed to harm two marriages and degrade William terribly. But you’re aghast that anyone might draw a connection?

Meghan and Harry often accuse others of leaks and briefings. Meghan leaks - we know this because of Lanie Gossip and the story of Kate not taking her shopping. We know because she admitted it to the court - they gave Omid Scobie info. We know the do because of Oprah, the Cut and now Spare. The majority of their fingers are pointing solidly back at themselves.

It’s not a big stretch to think that they could have put this story out there. The people that did that Oprah interview and brought up so many hurtful media incidents about Kate, designed only to humiliate? They both seem capable of planting this idea via Coren as punishment.

Lot's of speculation on social media by various people.

24th March 2019 the Mail published an article by Richard Kay glamourising W&Ks relationship, comparing it to M&H.

Giles Coren doesn't tweet anything until the 26th March.

It’s a super weird comparison and not one that any couple would find flattering. A long established couple who met decades ago, and have 3 children being compared to such a new one who met, had a whirlwind romance then got engaged after a few months. Doesn’t make sense and it’s not something that would be viewed as positive.

As far as Meghan being responsible (despite posters on here posting that they aren't saying that.... errrrmmm... course you are!) I think what is happening is this....
Apart from the Archewell impact statement Meghan released, we haven't seen or heard from her since beginning December. Some posters (who actually have been calling for her to go away for years) are disappointed that there's nothing to criticise her about because she isn't around, so they have to make stuff up to satisfy their need to come on MN and knock her. That's what I think anyway!

The thread you’ve posted on has a nasty subject line. The link between Coren tweeting this rumor about William and him having recently had drinks with William’s brother and sister in law at Soho house in Amsterdam will to be discussed every single time this rumor comes up.

Harry as his brother and Meghan as his sister-in-law both continued to feed into this by attacking William and Catherine publicly on Oprah, in Spare and interviews surrounding it. They obviously wish them ill and harbor a great deal of resentment toward both. Since they do this kind of ugly implying and conjecturing about their family openly, it’s not a stretch to think they would do so privately over drinks. They talk more about family than anything else. It’s obviously a compulsion so why would it stop in private?

H&M were hanging out with the guy who publicized this rumor right before he did so. That part is a fact, not a rumor.

He deleted his tweet and claimed he made it up. Also fact.

Implication: quite possible that they were making these scurrilous comments just to be nasty and he took it seriously then posted it. He took them down after being told “oh we didn’t really mean that.”
