Did POW have an affair?

Don't reply if you're a Will and Kate sycophant who believes they walk on water. They get favourable PR these days. I find Harry and Meghan irritating but I heard Harry got bad PR in order to distract from William's alleged affair. I remember reading about Rose Hanbury so wonder if there could be some truth in this.

Perhaps Kate is every bit as ambitious as Meghan and turns a blind eye so one day she can be Queen.

@babsanderson I think what you post is all in your head. Shameful behaviour really but you carry on as you are obviously getting some sick kick out of it or perhaps something else.

Serenster · 22/02/2023 06:02

I think the poster is a frequent reader of a hate site where they cherrypick photos of the Wales looking as unflattering or stern as possible and then construct the narrative that the couple hate each other and are not living together any more (one of the tactics that particularly amuses me is when they use a photo of them standing looking solemn as the national anthem is played and then they all clamour how they look serious and won’t look at each other 🤣).

As ever, when you look at the broad swathe of photos and video from any given event it’s easy to see how the cherrypicked photo captures but a scintilla of the whole.

pilates · 22/02/2023 06:05

@Serenster so true as always

Roussette · 22/02/2023 06:55

I have no idea about the state of the marriage of W&K, nor M&H, nor anyone. I'm sure all is fine given how important it is for W&K to show a united front.

What makes me laugh is how outraged posters are on speculation about this when H&M's marriage has been pulled apart since 2018! They were going to divorce within a year, then it was two years, then three and so on.... and there's been some pretty horrible gleeful posts about their body language, their hand holding, and their relationship has been consigned to the bin every day. Even to the point of working out where the children will live and exactly who Meghan will marry when she divorces Harry.

The irony. One word on W&K and it's absolute moral outrage.

Samcro · 22/02/2023 07:34

Roussette well said.

Absolutely. The same website where they regularly add 2 extra Ks when they write Kate.

Taking photos out of context and criticising people's marriage and children is awful - and I dislike reading about it. Whether that be W&K or H&M.

The latest photo out of context moment, that I'm sure will duly appear here is when W&K looked solemn and a bit upset during the tribute to HMQ at the BAFTAS

I mean, ffs.

"I'm sure all is fine given how important it is for W&K to show a united front". There seems to be quite a bit of shade and nasty insinuation in that remark.

While I wouldn't speculate on anyone's marriage, be it affairs, duty, etc, I can understand why some people question the potential longevity of H&M's marriage. Some if it is also very nasty.

I don't know them, I don't know their marriage, I am sure it's fine. I don't know what the matter with that is... unless you are very touchy about them.

I do apologise @TightFistedWozerk. Just fancied a bit of gossip before they delete this thread.

You enjoy nasty gossip to amuse yourself?

Serenster · 22/02/2023 09:49

Freudpenis · 12/01/2023 19:18

Apparently it was all over gossip magazines in Europe and the story was blocked here.

This has been discussed many times and no one has ever been able to show any foreign story that was doing anything more than reporting on the existence of the rumours. And there is nothing blocking the UK press other than their own reluctance to be sued for publishing a story that they have absolutely no evidence for.

Plitvice · 22/02/2023 10:07

Very credible that Turnip Toff stories make it all the way to a newsstand in Naples when they rarely make it outside of Norfolk. 😀

Very true

Why the hysterical denial that there could be anything wrong in Wand K marriage ? Why is that idea so threatening ? Chuck had a nasty divorce and his side piece, who tortured Diana , will be sitting on the throne . So what's the big deal if W and K are separated ?

I think it's a big deal for two reasons .
One - because if they are separated they are effectively lying to the public. Although Willy is doing a good job of sending the message that there is something up .
Two - less important this - some people - a rapidly dwindling number it's true - want to believe that 'royals' are somehow admirable ans the 'royals' want to maintain that .

Why is all the extra 'working royal families ' nonsense needed if it's just Charles as head of state ?

Because the only 'work' they do is PR for themselves . And that is looking increasingly questionable

Anonymouseposter · 22/02/2023 23:16

I think you’ll have to continue to “just wonder” as no one on here actually knows.

Monzeitia · 23/02/2023 07:47

And to Rose, her husband and children, I feel sorry for her to have this rumour about her cheating with W on SM day in day out

beatrice14 · 23/02/2023 20:14

Why are people on here always so sure Philip cheated? I do get though that it would be hard to write honestly about him or the Queen's faults when they were alive - and there were a couple of servants' accounts of seeing him with women.

I wonder if William did cheat with someone. It might explain the dog bowl bit as others have suggested. I don't think he came off well in Harry's book. I don't know much about Kate - does she seem interested and involved in her royal work?

VixenTodd · 23/02/2023 20:26

That's only Harry's story and H&M have been caught lying too many times. How can you even push someone into a dog bowl and break their necklace in the same moment?

CathyorClaire · 23/02/2023 20:45

I don't think he came off well in Harry's book.

TBF Harold doesn't come off well in his own book.

I see more moral outrage the other way round to be honest. Anyway, I think there is a difference between saying someone had an affair, naming the alleged affair partner and adding scurrilous details about sex acts, stating it’s been in the European press when it hasn’t etc. and alternatively making bitchy comments about how many years a marriage might last. The first is libellous, the second is just nasty. It’s completely blatant that when things aren’t going with a swing for H&M the nasty and libellous stuff about W&K ramps up several gears. It’s pathetic.

You should take those posters to task then. I find the sex act thing awful.

"I see more moral outrage the other way round to be honest"

Really? I have seen unpleasant speculation on M&H's marriage right from when they got married. Continually, a huge amount.

vera99 · 24/02/2023 04:40

At least Harry's book has upped the Doolittles work rate albeit it from a very low bar.Cue more recycled dresses and touchy feely pics in the Daily Mail,🥱

If you were the poster who first posted the KKKate comment on Mumsnet, Please don't take the moral high ground.

If you were the poster who first posted the KKKate comment on Mumsnet, Please don't take the moral high ground.

Just stop it.

I had numerous posters demanding what it was I had seen. I apologised when I wrote it and said 'you keep asking, here it is, I don't agree but this is what I have seen'. I was then laid in to by posters like you (who were probably demanding to see it in the first place) , and quickly had it removed and then apologised about ten times.

So just do one.

I have seen it posted by other posters on these threads numerous times, go and have a go at them and leave me alone.
