They're just people. Megan and Kate are both people. Neither of them is a saint. Both will have acted like a twat at time... the same way as we all do.

FWIW.... I wouldn't recoil if my SIL-to-be hugged me upon greeting. That's totally normal in my family, and its how I acted when I met DH's family many years ago. But then I'm clearly in a league of my own in terms of my chavviness as I also (shock horror) have been known to borrow a bit of lippie on a night out with my friends!

I think many people on here would say that they had some sort of incident with a family member during the upcoming days to their weddings that left them in tears. So many of these stories that have come out are happening all over the world (brother fighting, GASP!) without books being written about them.

I hope the palace keeps quiet. Let H & M run out of things to talk about and then maybe they will go away and live the private life they claimed to want.

In fairness to Kate those bridesmaid dresses were quite poorly made, if you look closely at them. Seems madness that they were only doing fittings 4 days before the wedding. Charlotte's didn't have a straight hem and the top half didn't fit her.

If I had been at the fitting I would not have been impressed, and not just for my daughter but for the rest of the bridal party

Kate hasn’t come out of this smelling of roses. She comes across as hard faced, eyes on the prize, too big for her middle class boots!! Always thought she was too squeaky clean.
