Allegedly Jessica Mulroney & her daughter Ivy were being sarcastic towards Charlotte getting upset over her dress.
Allegedly Ivy was being a brat winding up Charlotte (we all know what 4 & 3 yr olds are like best mates one minute & then mortal enemies the next & then back to best mates again) by saying Auntie Meghan is my Auntie not yours & she likes me better & you're fat & I'm the best bridesmaid not you.
Allegedly M & JM just laughed it off when Kate stuck up for Charlotte & complained.

Combined with the stress of the wedding, tights & dresses not fitting, a newly post partum mum & an allegedly bitchy best friend of the bride it's no wonder there were tears.
I'm surprised there wasn't any storming out & things thrown at the wall! (Remembering a bridesmaids fitting at another wedding where I was the bridesmaid acting as peacemaker & had to resort to threatening to bang everyone's head together if they didn't behave)

Sounds like a simple telling one child to stop being nasty & be nice to the other child was all that was needed.
Personally I would have just left if I had been Kate but then it's not so simple for her as it being a Royal Wedding.

I just wanted Kate to know millions of us Brit's have her back & admire her resilience. It's much more difficult to stay schtum.
