Has anyone actually met Kate, Pippa or the Middletons?

Either before or after William appeared on the scene? Mn is very disparaging about the Middleton's so following on from the has anyone met Meghan thread... Has anyone met the Middleton's or Kate?

Surely someone has made acquaintance with them seeing as mn so knowledgeable about their personalities..

Saw her at my DC's school when she had accompanied Charlotte for a school hockey match. She seemed smiley and shy and most parents did not realise until much later that she was there. Did not draw attention to herself in any way and made polite small talk with people around her. Her security people were also quite unobtrusive. All in all, she looked well turned out, attractive but still like most other school mums at my DC's school.

… and if you do know Kate, please share her diet rules and fitness routine?! It is impressive!

I've met Pippa. I handmade her something actually and then she never paid me. It wasn't a huge amount so not worth chasing, and I probably got more from publicity than she owed me, but it annoyed me because she said she'd pay and she didn't.

A friend used to work in a Waitrose local to them quite a while ago, before Kate and William married. Kate was nice and low-key apparently but Carole was a nightmare customer and gave herself airs. 😄

My DB met Kate (and William) as his ex was a school friend of Kate’s. His ex had nothing bad to say about Kate from memory (obviously- they were close enough for an invite to the Royal wedding). DB found Kate friendly enough, quite formal but didn’t form a strong view!

From what I gathered Kate is very private (as far as she can be) and DB’s ex was similarly guarded about it all. They weren’t allowed to take their phones into the wedding, naturally!

My sister and a young Kate used to have the same hairdresser. Apparently Kate is very nice.

Lol - yeah Carole has demanded an extra till be opened for her on several occasions (live near them)

That's what I love about Kate & the Middleton's, noone has shit to say about them.

I met Will and Kate in 2012. I spoke more with him than with her, but I liked them both. They both came across as likeable and genuine to me.

Someone I know (a tabloid journalist) bumped into Michael Middleton at the supermarket and despite not knowing him went up to him to say hello/chat (off the record). Apparently Michael was extremely pleasant and polite. They are a class act.

And I’ve asked for tills to be opened at the supermarket when there’s a long queue and staff milling around.

Apparently she'd go and get one item at a time from the store and pile them up on the till while the cashier just had to stand there waiting! 😄😬

Carol is still very senior cabin crew - Kate is nice, private not clever but not dim either, the children are everything.
William is dull a bit entitled but in a polite way - not as opinionated as Charles - mid level Bank manager material in real life.

A friend of mine works for a charity which was recently visited by Kate. She said she was very well prepared and asked really good questions. I asked her what she was like and the word she used was “humble” which surprised me.

Separately, friends were on holiday a year or two ago and got chatting to a nice couple and their three children on the beach. It was W and K. They were apparently very friendly and pleasant and normal. Paps didn’t know they were there and my friends didn’t tell.

Sounds like I’m a fangirl but I’m not really. Quite surprised by these two anecdotes.

Are you seriously saying that Carol Middleton works as cabin crew now?

I was at university with Kate and Will, and was occasionally at the same party as them. They're totally unobtrusively normal, no fuss, no airs - William used to wear a baseball cap pulled down quite far over his eyes, but to be fair loads of the boys did then.

@determinedtomakethiswork i think @bargoed was making a snotty point about how Carole comes across. (She doesn’t think William is literally a bank manager either.)

Can we get some inside intel on Kate's hair care regimen please?
She does have beautiful hair! I know it's genetic and brilliant hairdresser on call etc. But I'm still curious.

@pantjog not intentionally snotty - she is very controlled and polite but has a certain edge that neither daughter has.

Yes a close friend went to the same university as her . She also meet the mother Carol . She says Kate was ok and a bit if a party girl and her mum was very “stereotypical “ new rich “ with demands.
This close friend also meet William and Harry on a different settings ( prior to him meeting Kate ) . His comment to recent stuff coming out was “ I’m not surprised , William always had a temper “

I know the person who was involved in making fascinators for the Middleton women when Kate was engaged/girlfriend.

Kate pleasant and polite
Pippa quite stuck up
Carole rude and demanding

Professional blow dry/styling including masques, regular trims and augmented by hairpieces.

Pippa is a stuck-up cow (had the displeasure of being in the same shop as her, hearing her mistreat a member of staff).

I know a few DC at Marlborough at the same time.

Don't remember hearing anything bad about any of them - just normal part of the group
