There is no reason for anyone to Lord it over anyone else. Having money and status doesn’t make anyone an intrinsically better person
than someone who doesn’t have those things. Class is actually treating everyone with respect and kindness.

Wasn't Vogue Williams very rude to a man on a flight fairly recently? Told him to move seats. Spencer Matthews father (Pippa Middleton's bil) was accused of rape (if I rememember correctly) by an employee of his hotel in France. All very hushed up in press and not sure of court case outcome.

Apart from that, they all seem lovely!

Some very snobbish digs on here about Carole being a former air hostess

Used to come into the local Waitrose all the time before she was "officially engaged". And I know from from a taxi driver to pick her and her sister up from Marlborough college. Witty very self aware her and he mum used to read over the magazine's tabloids etc. Sharp as a diamond. Her mum social climber....

BIL met them while they were waiting for a helicopter as he’s a policeman. There was a delay and Kate made him a cup of tea.

I worked with Pippa's boyfriend for a while, during the period Kate was engaged to and then married to William. Apparently both Middleton girls were perfectly nice and amiable in a fairly unremarkable 'jolly hockey sticks' kind of way (much as he was tbh).

Really, who cares that Carole was an airhostess? Its an honest living. Once upon a time (and almost certainly when she entered the profession) it was considered pretty glamourous.

I don't fly BA, usually aer lingus or ryanair and they are all lovely. I just feel bad that the women are forced to wear heels and uncomfy looking clothes on some airlines.

My mum was once at a dinner with princess Di and as Diana walked past her on the way out, she said to whoever she was with, something like, phew, thank god that is over!

I once was walking through Dublin and H and M were on a visit so I hung around to watch as they got out of the car. But they didn't come anywhere near me (or more disappointingly, to the two little american girls next to me who were so excited to see a real princess)

@Kateforqueen the world is so crazy nowadays that I can’t tell if you’re being serious but of course her being Kate’s mother makes her nothing special at all. She has no right to think she’s above any of us mere mortals just because her calculations paid off.

I saw Kate, her parents, and the three children at a family attraction thing near where her parents live (farm, playground, indoor play area type place).
Louis is a bit older than my DD and was on the same bit of playground equipment as her. He was very sweet towards her when she got stuck on a bit that was a bit big for her. I talked to Kate's dad (Michael?) a bit and he seemed friendly but it was only general playground pleasantries about Louis and my DD.
Kate and her mum were inside watching the two older children play.

Friend of mine lives next village along from the Middletons in Berkshire. She says they are well known locally as being perfectly OK, normal people. There is a nice story about Kate's father going into the local pub not long after George was born. Some of the other locals were showing each other pics of their grandchildren and Michael M pulled a pack of pics out of his pocket saying 'oh we've got a George too'.
