Sorry but if you had false stories written about you day after day then it would be perfectly reasonable to try and control the narrative a bit. Any one of us in that position would try and do that.

I still don't see what made him feel he was so unsafe he needed to flee his homeland (his words) I think this is more about what happened to Diana than Meghan.

But why shouldn’t he? I agree that some of the things we’ve been told are in the book, (not one member of the public have read it yet!) shouldn’t have been there, but he is entitled to write about things that have happened to him.

Also agree he doesn't look or seem happy, not the same Harry that used to laugh and joke with William and Kate or was pictured smiling with children in Africa or enjoying the Invictus games. He came across as happy then.

Urgh. More hypocritical bollocks - I’m not sure he’s even grounded in reality anymore. As a source he’s backtracked & waffled so much he’s in no way credible. Is he fucked up? Yes. Did he have major trauma growing up? Yes. Worse trauma than many many others in this world suffer? No.

This might be the most compelling & convincing critique of British media ever provided by someone who really knows what it’s like to be in their jaws. Fascinating & tragic that they have all the papers on display in every palace every day. No wonder they’re so obsessed by it.

@shortandpaleandoldandugly Ironic. People criticising him for revealing too much, and now for not revealing enough.

The press is free in this country. There is an entire industry dedicated to briefing the press on behalf of their clients - namely the PR industry. Meghan and and Harry know them well and have used them profusely in the past.

They have also Omid Sconid at their disposal, planting stories here and there.

Archewell, their company, has a PR department working just for them.

I thought Harry came across as being incredibly hard work.

It must be exhausting being around him with the level of paranoia that he has.

Harry sounds like he’s swallowed his therapist’s handbook with the waffle that he’s coming out with.

Which stories though? He never gives examples!

The blood test that supposedly revealed he was drunk had a high level of carbon monoxide in it that made no sense. At the inquest there were suggestions it was not his blood.
