Harry was totally ill advised when writing this book

I'm actually shocked at the level of personal detail this book seems to go into. He seems to have shared every personal moment and detail in his life and his families' life.

I can't work out if the publisher or his Management have massively taken advantage of his vulnerability in advising him to write so personally or if he is genuinely that bitter and naive that he feels it was the right thing to do.

There are meant to be two more books, what other revelations are there? Whilst it's fascinating to read (yes I am hypocrite as I do find it interesting) I can't help but think he will live to regret doing this and it will all blow up in his face. Considering he hates the tabloid press it feels so tabloidy (I don't think that's a word but you get what I mean).

I think it’s already blown up in his face to some extent. Army veterans have criticised his claim to have killed 25 Taliban soldiers and fort derringer to them as chess pieces. They wouldn’t do that lightly.

I saw a thread where someone said after all this blows over, the press and royal family won't have dirty secrets to coerce or bully him with. It has all been laid bare. Let's hope that the case and he has laid it bare.

Someone in the papers the other week was saying that surely his publishers would be annoyed about the Netflix doc because surely there can’t be anything new in the book. WRONG!! He’s going to air every single piece of dirty laundry.

I'm wondering if, when the UK edition is published, much of the 'my truth' whinge will have been edited out due to legal constraints? I doubt much of it can be 'proved' and is possibly libellous given the comments about family members. Thus the 'shock' of the translated Spanish version which, of course, will not have anything to do with PH himself. Not his fault, no way, not at all. As usual.

I read that after the PJ he had second thoughts about publishing the book following conversations when he was in the U.K. but decided to go ahead when The Queen died .

I suspect he doesn’t listen to advisers. Just sycophants and over therapied hugger types, of which the US has plenty. Also he’s obviously motivated by money. He’s not the brightest and a vulnerable person despite his age.

Also, I'm not remotely bothered by threads about the royals. Oddly, I was attempting to help you get the responses you were looking for instead of kneejerk annoyance due to it being in the wrong topic. That's the other problem with AIBU, you get people being snippy and telling you to fuck off and for no good reason.
