I just could not care less. I have zero interest in the royals. I've never watched a royal wedding or funeral, and just want to curl up and die of shame every time I see them on TV.

It baffles me that people think we need them. This island produced Shakespeare, Dickens, Tolkien, Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking, David Bowie, the Beatles, Virginia Woolf, Wordsworth, Blake, Byron, Milton, Turner, Jane Austen, the Brontes. We have two of the oldest and most famous universities in the world. It's the island in which the cell and the atom were first understood. It's the birthplace of modern democracy. It's the place in which DNA was discovered, where Harry Potter was written. We should be proud of our amazing cultural history, not this bunch of ugly gargoyles.

Well if our taxes went towards paying fur the RF and their weddings etc, then I am happy to be entertained by this 😀.

Gives me something to do on a cold January evening when the Dec's are down and it's miserable outside.

I loves a bit of gossip, and have pretty ordered the book on my Kindle for Tuesday am.

Aren't there interviews as well? Ones on Sunday, whens the rest? Anyone know?

I, for one, am waiting for the book to be released on Tuesday. I think the point of a good memoir is to describe situations and lives that most people won't have the chance to experience or relate to firsthand, and Harry's life so far definitely qualifies. I'd rather read his life story than another politician or whatever. And I'd rather read it from him than Tom Bower.

(I can do without the stallion, circumcision, and frosty balls stuff, though, just in case there are plans for a second edition!!)

Please don't misunderstand me, I absolutely love having you here. It's a great party and the more the merrier.

However, the thread is on the Royal Family board and the OP is clearly about the book. So anyone who reads it and responds clearly has some sort of wish to engage and isn't totally disinterested.

No judgement from me. As I said, I'm loving it.
