Harry reveals Charles carries a teddy because of childhood bullying

According to Maureen Callahan, Harry writes that Charles takes his childhood teddy bear everywhere due to the emotional scars he bears from childhood bullying.

As she writes: "Know what's pitiful? Taking the private pain and vulnerabilities of those closest to you, [and] mocking them for public consumption and profit."

That is not Harry's story to tell. It is Charles. It is intensely private.

Furthermore, I don't want to know that William is circumcised, how or where or why Harry lost his virginity, that H is fixated on his "mummy", that he thinks Meghan is "magic" and why, none of it.

Harry is intensely sick. The resentments he harbors, the overwhelming jealousy, the rage, the appalling lack of character and intellect. He’s really showing himself up.

I hope Charles is not going to suffer ill health such as a heart attack or stroke due to the stress Harry and Meghan cause him.

I have my 2 teddy bears from my childhood. DH still has his. They sit together on a bed.

I read it that they both were.

I have my teddy sitting on my bedside table. Last time DSis visited (with her teddy) she took a photo of them both together, paw in paw, sitting on my bed.

Poor Charles. Its well documented that he had an awful time at Gordonstoun and swore blind his sons would go nowhere near it. His mother spent much his and Anne's early childhood on Royal business so they were more or less brought up by their nannies. Andrew and Edwars had a better deal as HM spent more time with them as young children.
Whatever people think of Charles and yes he has made poor decisions ( haven't we all?) He is elderly, and a human being who just lost his parents in quick succession and now the King.
He's happy now with the woman he should have married in the first place so can we give the poor guy a break?

No he’s quite thick actually isn’t he? Which wouldn’t be a reason to dislike him but to be thick and vindictive- that’s a bad combination. His poor family.

So HM the King has a childhood teddy bear? I'm fairly certain there are regulations against having a real one in his palaces! 🧸🐻 Hah Hah just trying to make light of this latest round of nastiness! God only knows what else is to come I also have a stuffed bear as well and I'm almost 50!

I am seeing sad parallel's to my family also. I feel like we are watching a Kanye-like implosion in slow motion. It seems predatory that the people around him allowed this book to be published.

Lots of people keep their teddy. DH embarrassed one of the girls by bringing her teddy to her wedding, sat him on the bench during the service and at the top table later.
My teddy is on my bed and is happy to give emergency cuddles to the grandchildren if they forget their cuddly. He's the 'spare', just hope he's not going to write an expose.

Maybe because since he married her he’s become utterly unhinged and she’s clearly encouraging the paranoia and victim mentality.

A caring wife would rein his excesses in, not carry on goading him on for more money.

I think it's a nod to his mother. She had no real interest in Charles but seemed to love being the princess, little girls fantasy came true. I think Megan is something similar, loves the idea of being royal but in Hollywood rather than in the UK. If they'd stayed they'd simply have slotted into the royal duties which I suspect isn't as high profile as they want. Need to be stars of the show rather than supporting cast.

Some people are only happy were immersed in drama. I think M is one of them.
