I'm feeling a bit sorry for Harry

I feel like he needs his mum more than ever. To put an arm round him and say "enough son".

He needs guidance, he's never had maternal guidance. Its well documented that Williams life has been really enhanced by Kates parents. Harry has never had that and i feel sorry for him.

Brave is serving in warzones

Wot, like Afghanistan?

Yes? Not however like attending a Coronation service after hurting all of your family by revealing all kinds of private info to the nasty media. That isn't brave.

Whaeanui · 09/05/2023 07:33

I think it is brave actually. There’s different degrees of bravery and I think an event like that with such scrutiny when you could easily stay home, is brave. Not everyone will feel the same though.

It really isn't. It is arrogance, cockiness. He has no shame and could not care less how much he has hurt and disappointed his family.

Yes it was brave. It would have been easier to hide at home. He time limited himself - didn't stay too long and there wasn't a lot in it for him socially or for pleasure. He showed up for Charles with a smile on his face. Was true to himself - then took his leave.

He doesn’t need to be ashamed for speaking his truth. You have no idea how he feels and your opinion is just that, an opinion. It’s not objective facts.

<sighs>

He can speak his 'truth' til the cows some home what he shouldn't do is reveal private information, such as William's circumcision or content of private chats. That is afterall what he has moaned about other people doing including his estranged fil. One rule for him, another for everyone else on planet Harry.

you haven’t read the book, have you? Because he didn’t reveal Williams private information. He revealed his own. The media had already raised the issue and made false claims about them and their mother. I’ll add the part of the book just so you don’t continue to be misinformed. See where it says, I. That means he’s referring to himself. As for private chats, if it involved him and false claims have been made about the conversation, he has every right to respond and show evidence.

I'm feeling a bit sorry for Harry
Sunscummailfail · 09/05/2023 08:44

That’s TMI for this time in the morning.

Rhondaa · 09/05/2023 08:51

'As for private chats, if it involved him and false claims have been made about the conversation, he has every right to respond and show evidence.'

So you must support Thomas Markle doing the same. Or is blabbing to the media only ok if you're a fan of the blabber?!

Whaeanui · 09/05/2023 08:57

@Janiie are you going to concede you have been wrong to say he revealed Williams private medical information?
Thomas Markle made false claims to the press about his conversations with his daughter two years before she made the Netflix series where she cleared up his lies with texts.

8roses · 09/05/2023 09:10

He’s rather obsessed with his penis isn’t he? 😂😂 wonder what Freud would have to say about that

polkadotdalmation · 09/05/2023 09:19

The ghost author says he himself is a narcissist in this article. He admits he found it difficult to work with Harry at times. Can't help but think two narcissists clearly would clash. I read most of the book, but found the jerky way it was written, the silly short sentences, paragraphs and chapters, very grating. It simply was poorly written. This article in the NYorker is in the same irritating style.

This article was clearly written in a magazine with consent and the Sussex PR machine behind it. The Sussexes have instructed the PR machine to grind into action again. Staged hiking photos, Harry at the coronation, and now this. Next will be photos of Archie's birthday party. As predicted.

Whaeanui · 09/05/2023 09:20

Not really. He had a funny injury to it and the press wrote about it. Absolutely not a major part of the book, just tabloid leaks. Other people have talked more about it than he has.

😂😂😂 ooookay sure! Have you read your own writing?

polkadotdalmation · 09/05/2023 09:28

Better hand that degree back then.

More personal insults?

There's nothing wrong with the way @polkadotdalmation writes

Whaeanui · 09/05/2023 09:46

The insults weren’t mine, were they.

polkadotdalmation · 09/05/2023 09:47

@poppysockies I know perfectly well, I write well, so thank you 😊. I'm used to the personal insults. It's always the stance adopted by someone who has no real argument. 🤣

You criticised a professional writer and think your own writing is better. I think you then have to accept other criticisms of your own posts based on the many many insults and overuse of adjectives they contain. Lots of posters find your posts unpleasant and you’ve had many removed so you’ve got to be open to criticism really.

Whaeanui · 09/05/2023 09:54

poppysockies · 09/05/2023 09:49

Yes, you insulted @polkadotdalmation writing.

I asked a question based on their own criticisms of a professional writer. If you can’t handle the same words used about your own writing, not you as a person but your writing, then you probably shouldn’t use them for someone else’s.

Rhondaa · 09/05/2023 09:59

He should not have mentioned Willam's penis full stop. He should not have discussed his own, has he no filter? Is his 'ghost writer' nothing more than than a Take a Break style writer?!

Just all so grubby book and trashy. Makes Markle senior's blabbing seem high brow in comparison.

Howsimplywonderful · 09/05/2023 09:59

Brooke Shields has issues with the accuracy of Andre Agassi’s book ghostwritten by the same author as Harry’s

She felt it misrepresented her relationship with Andre. She was never consulted in advance which meant the author was only taking Andres views point and twisting it whatever way he needed. She was given a copy in advance, asked her opinion which was ignored when she raised concerns.

So you’re not going to concede you were wrong and it was, as I’ve just shown, media who mentioned William’s penis and Harry mentioned the story and his own. Not William’s. Seems about right then. Just deflect to something else.
