He has gone after Camilla....

The Sun have got hold of a copy of the book that was accidently put on sale in Spain. They are clearly skimming it as fast as possible with a translator. They are reporting that W&H begged KC not to marry C, and that he thought she was leaking stories to the press.

Bloody hell.

@lemmein
Off to a good start anyway!

Plus he's right about Camilla and the press
And Clarkson's vile article after the lunch proved every word H and M said about the British gutter press was true

Yep. Camilla and Clarkson are vile and in cahoots.

MissMarpleRocks · 05/01/2023 15:05

Just discussing this on LBC now - if I manage to stay awake I’ll report back on peoples views. Not being facetious about staying awake have horrid infection

Nah, Sarah Ferguson seems to me to be not that bright and a terrible judge of character so there’s that but also a warm person without an ounce of malice in her.

Agree with this. Sort of her age and have a bit of a soft spot for Fergie, especially as I remember the truly appalling things said in the Press long before she did anything wrong, apart from the mortal sin of putting weight on of course.

Spect8 · 05/01/2023 15:06

Realistically, not many care. They might in the moment, then move on to their own real lives until there is another update in the RF soap opera.

It's just all shits and giggles for many. Taking sides on this or any issue involving them is just infantile. They are so irrelevant in our lives.

His mental health is going to suffer badly from the fallout.

I predict he will end up back in the UK in a bad way mentally, surely even he realises the damage he's trying to do yet he seems to expect to be welcomed back into the bosom of his family eventually.

I’m confused - was it Kate who made Meghan cry at being upset at being called nappy brain, either while pregnant or just after giving birth? Or did Meghan make Kate cry by calling her nappy brain. I find this the weirdest thing he’s shared. Just why?

I don't understand it either. And I assumed she'd call it diaper brain.

I would have thought she would have called it "baby brain." That's the common parlance here in the US. I've never heard anyone say "diaper brain."

I hope for Harry's sake that his marriage last, because if it doesn't I'm afraid he's going to be all alone.

He's in some sort of self destruct mode! I knew he wasn't overly bright but I can only assume now he is a complete fool, or hasn't got the intellect to realise his so called "advisors" are just after the money.

Yes what on earth is he hoping to achieve, it's all so grim.

He is doing everything he has moaned other people have done to him.

This won't end well, he's been mocked mercilessly everywhere I look. Why even mention the necklace and the dogs bowl?

Poor Camilla and Charles and all the rest of the tolerant rf who have been putting up with this shit for years. At keast were all seeing in black and quite just how unreasonable Harold is.

MiladeeBeserko · 05/01/2023 15:08

It's like rubbernecking a car crash. You know you're a ghoul for looking, you pretend that you don't and slag off others for doing it. But everyone looks.

LimeCheesecake · 05/01/2023 15:08

I do wonder at the Queen letting them go completely - removing all ties, expecting them to find themselves, knowing he only had about £20m, yet would need security at around £3m a year - surely someone would have stopped to think “what way will he make the huge sums needed with his skill set?” Perhaps they thought he’d take a quick look round LA, realise he had a good deal before, and move back to England and behave. But someone should have seen that it was completely predictable that a boy who had such a strained relationship with his dad and step mum would just sell that story for millions?

i think the late Queen (or her advisors) massively overestimated how good the relationship between Charles and Harry was, they’ve really relied on loyalty that needed to be based on love and caring once it was no longer based on practical support.

The Queen did 40 units a week until near the end when doctors told her to stop.

Never heard that the queen was a drinker but it clearly didn’t do her any harm did it? About 4 bottles of wine over a week is hardly raging alcoholism. I’ve always imagined Charles and Camilla enjoy a few.

Apparently they were dealing with the flowe girls. And Kate wanted one thing, Meghan the other, so Meghan told her she must have baby brain and it was down to her hormones.

meghan was reprimanded, by a person unknown, for speaking to Kate in that manner, and then Meghan compounded the issue by taking offense that she wasn’t allowed to slag off Kate’s mental health to her face.

creamwitheverything · 05/01/2023 15:09

Why do I feel Megan and Harry would sell their own fillings for a quid or two ? Its disgusting to me how low they are stooping for money of all things. They have no shame which it just as bad, the upper classes yeah righ lower than a slugs belly thats all they are.. Prostituting themselves for all their cash , no decency what so ever. It stinks.

vera99 · 05/01/2023 15:09

Begoniasforever · 05/01/2023 14:20

Genuinely I’m astounded anyone wanted to. Someone on here said they were so desperate they even preordered. Can you imagine. We all knew it was going to be leaked in the media, but more than that, why pay these people for what they are doing. Why give harry and Meghan your money.

anyone buying into it and throwing them cash should be ashamed.

I'll get a pirated version for the Kindle once its officially released.

I think this is all being translated from the Spanish version of the book, so may just be a translation issue?

Let's hope he succeeds!

Better people than he have tried and failed, he's a victim of coercive control and will need a huge amount of therapy when he loses everything in the US and she moves on to the next meal ticket.

Think so, I think that Mrghan said Kate did something because of hormones and baby brain, this upset Kate, and because Kate didn't agree and accept Megan's fantastic revelation, Kates the one in the wrong?

Well no, because at that stage Charles was paying security. And was intent on continuing to do so. The accounts show Charles was paying their security for a long time after they left. Well past the summer. It only stopped when they kicked off about the met being removed and talking shit about Charles

I don't think there was ever any pleasing Harry and Meghan. No matter how much they were given, they would always find something to complain about. Best to rip off the Band Aid. These 'memoirs' will do far more harm to Harry than they will to the rest of the royals.

She had a daily ritual can't remember exactly but a glass of champagne at lunch and some sort of Dubonnet cocktail in the evening probably all stiff ones. Her mum could pack the gin away and lived to 104 so no it did them no harm.

MintJulia · 05/01/2023 15:12

Yes, that occurred to me. H is making himself terribly vulnerable. 🙁

I’m also reading that the Nazi costume was all William and Kate’s fault too?

He can blame anything on anyone. he cannot prove it but no-one will ever ask him to do so.

Yes and it will be everyone else's fault. I can't quite believe he's hoping for reconciliation after taking the piss out of db's baldness and going on about his 'arch nemesis'.

He needs a break, far away from enablers and manipulators in the US counting the dollars.

LimeCheesecake · 05/01/2023 15:14

I remember at the time there was an article that Will went with Harry to sort costumes and had encouraged the uniform - I thought it was well known that Will had a hand in that (but the good sense not to wear it himself )

I wonder how Netflix feel now that it’s clear how much Harry held back ?

Harry, Markle and Netflix deserve each other.

How is it clear they are heavy drinkers? Bradfordgirl?

Honestly your posts are weird
