The Sun have got hold of a copy of the book that was accidently put on sale in Spain. They are clearly skimming it as fast as possible with a translator. They are reporting that W&H begged KC not to marry C, and that he thought she was leaking stories to the press.

Bloody hell.

He’s also explained the row between Kate and Meghan. She referred to Kate having nappy brain because of her hormones during a dress fitting or something and was reprimanded about it. Seemingly she didn’t know Kate well enough to mention her hormones, and that the RF didn’t speak to each other like that. It’s not said who reprimanded her.

So he's called his Mrs a liar!

She had a daily ritual can't remember exactly but a glass of champagne at lunch and some sort of Dubonnet cocktail in the evening probably all stiff ones. Her mum could pack the gin away and lived to 104 so no it did them no harm.

Two drinks a day? Appalling. 🙄

LakieLady · 05/01/2023 15:18

So true we are partying at the edge of a skip fire of our country possibly because if we didn't laugh we would cry. I predict there will be 10s of thousands protesting against the Coronation it will be a lightening rod particularly for youthful discontent.

I hope you're right, @vera99 . I'll join in myself if I get wind of any demonstrations, although I'll be in pensioners' section.

It's the most disgusting indulgence at a time when so many are struggling terribly and our essential services are failing because of lack of investment. Smacks of "Let them eat cake" imo, and we all know how that ended.

(And yes, I am aware that there are many different attributions and interpretations of the phrase, before anyone troubles to point it out.)

Begoniasforever · 05/01/2023 15:21

Oh I’m looking forward to the coronation, it will bring huge revenues to this country from tourism and provide a platform globally for future tourism. We all need something to celebrate too. London is going to be mobbed and local businesses are going to coin it in. Bloody brilliant.

ThirtyThreeTrees · 05/01/2023 15:23

I have little interested in the overall dysfunctionality of the entire situation but it's very sad that Harry, regardless of his wrongdoings or those of others, appears to be having some sort of breakdown.

Everyone can see that he is eaten up with anger, rightly or wrongly and is seeing some sort of vengeance. He was right to remove himself from the situation but he is clearly bring exploited, albeit with his permission.

It's absolutely tragic that there isn't a family member or friend that is able to reason with him and get him the help he needs as his behaviour is so self destructive and worrying at this stage.

If his mental health doesn't survive this, it will be tragic. I think the publishers and Netflix etc, were all focusing on profit and sensationalism. It's wrong in so many ways and really needs to stop before it's too late.

ZenNudist · 05/01/2023 15:24

You'd think he'd have learned from the shit show that resulted from his parents releasing books. Particularly no good came from the Andrew Morton book for Wills or Harry. It should have shown him that things were best kept private.

goldismything · 05/01/2023 15:24

Clearly h & m are liars as facts prove. His comment about baby brain also add spiteful. Where's the kindness here they drone on about. Digging their own nasty holes. How very sad

10HailMarys · 05/01/2023 15:26

Does anyone else feel actually a bit physically sick seeing all these headlines?

No, because I'm a normal, functioning adult and Prince Harry isn't a member of my family.

JudgeJ · 05/01/2023 15:26

ProserpinaProserpina · 05/01/2023 14:15

Has James Hewitt possibly being his father actually ever been DNA tested? I can’t help but feel like Harry has massively distanced himself from the family for a significant reason and I wonder if his parentage could be involved.

I've always considered that to be rubbish, looking at Harry and Prince Philip at a simlar age when both were bearded. However a little imp in my brain would love Charles to issue DNA proof that he isn't Harry's father and he is plain Mr Hewitt of the Bend Sinister.

Do you think he would have put “ his side of the story” had he and M been allowed the half in/ half out they wanted ? Let’s not forget there was absolutely NO mention of leaving the RF in their original Megxit statement.

It’s all about money, pure and simple.
He wouldn’t be doing any of this if it wasn’t making them shed loads of money. They really don’t care about anything else. It’s frightening the depths he is plumbing . He’s a loathsome person, as is his wife.

Mirabai · 05/01/2023 15:28

The palace learnt absolutely nothing from Diana, they have had this coming for a long time.

If someone had emotionally tortured my pregnant, mentally ill mother who was barely out of her teens I'd have gone for them as well.......in fact I'm surprised he's held off this long. What the pair of them did to that woman was disgusting.

I agree. Some people have very short memories.

Tigger7654 · 05/01/2023 15:29

Redglitter · 05/01/2023 13:40

If he's gone for Camilla that'll be it game over with his Dad. He won't be able to come back from that. I think that'll kill any chance of reconciliation.

I agree, KC has always been infatuated with Camilla, in a choice between her or his kids I don't think his kids would win. How awful must that be for Harry. I have a father like that, it bloody hurts.

Quite. Who actually gives a fuck.

crabbyapples · 05/01/2023 15:30

I can't believe Harry could show his face at the queen's funeral while this was in the works - knowing he was holding a loaded gun to the entire monarchy.

Oh yes, apparently he talks about the day she died and the funeral too in great detail in the book.

No shame.

If that is true , a line will have been crossed .

You simply don’t know if that’s the case
Maybe crosses your line? You cannot definitively say crosses their RF line

Sighhhhh · 05/01/2023 14:56

All of this media drivel over an institution that has no real meaning. They are not inherently better or even more intelligent than “their subjects”. Ridiculous.

Yep! 👏🏻

Spect8 · 05/01/2023 15:33

Rishi Sunak was probably on his holidays in Spain and arranged for the leak to distract those of us leading ordinary lives from the shitshow that is going on now.

Some are so easily distracted by a dysfunctional rich useless family that we pay for. Cannot get my head around it really.

bakalava · 05/01/2023 15:33

Does anyone else feel actually a bit physically sick seeing all these headlines?

No, because they are still hypernormal compared to my family 😂 I feel sad for Harry and angry about his enablers that's all.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 05/01/2023 15:34

Apparently they were dealing with the flowe girls. And Kate wanted one thing, Meghan the other, so Meghan told her she must have baby brain and it was down to her hormones.

So the thing that M talked about in OW (that made her cry) is the same thing that H is referring to here (nappy brain)? Is that what the book says or are people just linking the two situations?

RoseAndRose · 05/01/2023 15:34

Blossomtoes · 05/01/2023 14:24

Mine too. There’s one Tweet on my feed that’s supportive of him.

On Twitter, you get more of what you want to see, so it's not good quality evidence.

I don't follow generally royal topics on twitter - though did a bit around the Jubilee and plus retrospectives following the Queen's death (nothing about the Sussexes.

Trending for me are: #harryisaliar meagain #haroldsnecklace #HarrtandMeghanExposed #AbolishTheMonarchy and Catherine

Trending - 11th place, brothers (which is also trending in 'news') 15th place monarchy

He's burns his bridges.

I can't see how he'll come back from this.

I do, not as someone who feels a particular loyalty to the RF. I feel that I’m watching a mentally ill man teetering on the edge of a cliff, making some very poor choices that will send him over.
