The Sun have got hold of a copy of the book that was accidently put on sale in Spain. They are clearly skimming it as fast as possible with a translator. They are reporting that W&H begged KC not to marry C, and that he thought she was leaking stories to the press.

Bloody hell.

It’s the press, depends when it happened and the context. Maybe the incident was 20 years ago or longer. I’m sure shortly after their moms death, two young boys asking dad not to remarry’s no big deal. After all she’s been in their lives forever.
All the shit stirring drama makes H look very immature.

What a horrible bastard. He's never considered just keeping a dignified silence, then? Selling his feelings to the highest bidder is going to ruin his mental health.

None of which will be his fault of course

I know what you mean @fartichoke

Personally, I'm finding the whole thing quite entertaining from a bystander's perspective—it's like watching a posh soap opera go live with no scriptwriters. But when you sit and really think that this is about real people, with real feelings, and lasting implications, it's quite sad.

In a few months time when the fuss has died down, I genuinely wonder whether he will regret all of this.

Exactly this ☝🏼
This is his family ffs wonder if he still speaks to the Spencer's Diana's family because he's going to need someone when it all goes tits up!

The things that him & megan have said & claimed all while the RF were/are mourning the deaths of Prince Philip & the Queen is sickening.
The pair of them whinging horrible brats leave me nauseous 🤢

lipstickwoman · 05/01/2023 13:48

Another struggling to see how any of this will help Harry. He's been very very badly advised, exploited even.

I agree . I am stuck at home ( illness ) so am quite entertained but the sensible side of me is quite horrified . Did Harry learn nothing from Diana’s tell all to Bashir ? What outcome was he he hoping for when he poured his heart out to his ghostwriter?
Does he realise that he is basically confirming the unpleasant rumours about Meghan ?
What on earth does he do now ?

saffronrabbit · 05/01/2023 13:48

Yep, a line has been crossed.

And as a side note....I cannot believe he has commented on William's baldness. What a childish and infantile low blow - petty little twat.

BMW6 · 05/01/2023 13:46

Well those hoping he will bring down the Monarchy are going to be massively disappointed I think.

If anything the majority of the Public will rally round to show support for The King etc I believe, so very much an own goal HAM.

I think this too. I think it will cement KC in his new reign.

Sarahconnor1 · 05/01/2023 13:49

He has also gone after Williams receding hairline. This is quoted in the mail, who also have a copy from Spain. Its hilarious and odd in equal measure

He wrote: 'I looked at Willy, really looked at him, perhaps for the first time since we were little, taking in every detail: his familiar scowl, which had always been the norm in his dealings with me'.

He said that his brother's baldness was 'alarming' and 'advanced than mine' and said his resemblance their their mother had 'faded'

Rowthe · 05/01/2023 13:50

Hes going after Kate, Wills and Camilla.

He is trying to stay in KC's favour.

BethDuttonsTwin · 05/01/2023 13:51

I think that if William’s alleged affair is not confirmed then we can be pretty sure that didn’t happen as I am convinced that H & M would have spilled that if they knew it to be true. I feel like there’s nothing they won’t say now, no line they won’t cross.

Oof! Spiteful! And also like he’s living in cloud cuckoo land!

SquashesPumpkinsAutumnBliss · 05/01/2023 13:52

“Terrifying” and “alarming” are words he has used about William.
thank goodness he is no longer in the armed forces - if that is his reaction to a receding hair mine and a shout!

BethJ62 · 05/01/2023 13:52

I wonder how Netflix feel now that it’s clear how much Harry held back ?

Rowthe · 05/01/2023 13:52

GalwayShawl · 05/01/2023 13:42

I don’t this Harry will survive this mentally

The fallout will be immense

if Meghan ever leaves him…… she’s probably going to do the same thing to him

Yup if she does ever leave him.

Its be interview time with Oprah.

Netflix series and books deals with interview after interview.

She'll be documenting everything in anticipation.

I think the whole Rose affair is bollocks, considering Pippa called her daughter Rose. Would you really name your baby after the woman who scorned your sister? Unlikely!

fartichoke · 05/01/2023 13:53

What's with all this 'wicked stepmother' crap? Real life isn't a Disney fairytale of villains, evil stepmothers and 'Harry the Hero', righting all wrongs through... a book.

watcherintherye · 05/01/2023 13:54

ditalini · 05/01/2023 13:42

It all makes me wish they'd make another series of The Windsors. They've got masses of material.

Yes!! I can’t just picture the scene where Wills and Kate are assuring Harry it will be a hoot if he wears Nazi uniform to the party. Very ‘The Windsors.’!

Agree. I never believed it.

I wonder where bookshops will be putting this. Comedy or fiction - or both?

TinyChancer · 05/01/2023 13:55

No mention of Prince Andrew yet? Isn't that interesting?
Clearly wants to spare B&Es feelings cause information on PA would be more interesting than Harry falling onto a dog bowl!

The bargain bin

Cariadz · 05/01/2023 13:56

He’s also explained the row between Kate and Meghan. She referred to Kate having nappy brain because of her hormones during a dress fitting or something and was reprimanded about it. Seemingly she didn’t know Kate well enough to mention her hormones, and that the RF didn’t speak to each other like that. It’s not said who reprimanded her.

Harry had a huge bald patch approx 18 months ago, it's all grown over now- I think hes had a hair transplant.

He was looking pretty much the same as William and now has a full head of hair again.

Begoniasforever · 05/01/2023 13:56

As the op said, someone is sitting reading this and getting articles out about every claim asap,

in actual fact ultimately harryhad a very warm relationship with camilla.

he’s literally sold it all. Every single little thing. Every negative feeling. Every perceived slight. He’s sold it all. He’s done his very worst and raked in the cash for it.

next up meghans book and she will do her worst. It’s exhausting. The thing is tnough, it’s all petty shit

I didn’t believe it even before she named her baby Rose.
