The Sun have got hold of a copy of the book that was accidently put on sale in Spain. They are clearly skimming it as fast as possible with a translator. They are reporting that W&H begged KC not to marry C, and that he thought she was leaking stories to the press.

Bloody hell.

When there’s no more left to say and Meghan wants to keep the muliti million $ payments coming in she’ll do what they’ve both done to the RF to Harry. There doesn’t seem to be enough money in the world for her.

Its all going to end very badly for him.

Ohnonevermind · 05/01/2023 15:37

@Roussette

i’m not on Twitter so can’t really comment but I just feel sad for them. The selected articles if true have a touch of ‘the cut’ article about them.

But we will just have to wait and see when the book comes out . If that’s the case, I fear they will get stuck forever trying to put across their case to win people over. That’s no way to live

The palace learnt absolutely nothing from Diana, they have had this coming for a long time.

This.

Nothing, just nothing is surprising me. At all.

The relationship between th Monarchy and the Press is bad, the Monarchy needs a massive overhaul, and to stop being so in thrall to them.

Look at the statement King Harald of Norway put out when his daughter got engaged to a black guy recently. And the guy suffered terrible racist articles and media pile on. No different to what Meghan endured.

The statement was really strongly worded, a long one, calling it out. Why the actual fuck our Monarchy could not do this, I do not know. It would've gone a long way to stopping this.

Here you go... just part of it.

“We are also concerned about being able to live well together, despite inequality. The racist attitudes Durek Verrett has been subjected to, especially on social media, we strongly oppose. It is a strength that the Royal Family reflects the ethnic diversity that exists in Norway.
“It can be difficult to understand how direct or indirect, conscious or unconscious racism can be experienced, for those of us who are not in it ourselves. Unfortunately, there are many in Norway today who experience discrimination and racism.
“We must work together to put an end to this.”

KKKate?

What the fuck is that?

Perfectly demonstrates the level of intelligence of some supporters. Not on here obviously, I'm sure everyone here will agree the use of KKK is disgusting. Just why even include it if not to make the people supporting Harold look thick. Job well done Grin.

clyspa · 05/01/2023 15:39

RF didn't choose William or Harry's wives and both married women of a similar age whilst in their 30s - am not sure why that doesn't qualify as learning from Charles and Diana?

Harry married quickly (not wrong, his choice) but didn't then get the run up for M that might have helped. Reports are they were offered time out and help for her and this was not taken up - I just don't accept a family is more responsible for an in law then the family member that married the person

The job wasn't for her. The whys have changed over time snd hardly matters now - it's reduced to Catty comments about hairlines

Roll on the summer - he's frankly done his worst, they might/might not continue with inviting him to the coronation but curtailing access to William I imagine and may or may not still mention him in a wish him well way but I suspect they will simply stop referring to him or inviting him and we'll see him dropped from the royal website etc - or that's what I would do. No statements no tit for tat just slowly ease him out of the firm side and leave the door ajar as a family member

Coxspurplepippin · 05/01/2023 15:39

What a shit show. If Harry and Meghan wanted to turn themselves into charitable celebrity philanthropists, their behaviour is making a total mockery of their plans. They are neither charitable nor philanthropic. Their advocacy for mental health means nothing now.

I bet Charles is incredibly concerned about Harry's mental wellbeing - he's just thrashing about, looking for someone to blame for every single tiny thing that's gone wrong in his life. He needs to take a step back, get a lot more therapy and stop putting himself in the public eye for a few months.

His complaints about the tabloids were pretty on the money, but he's just giving the tabloids more fodder than ever.

If he was my husband/son/brother I'd be very worried about him.

Another struggling to see how any of this will help Harry. He's been very very badly advised, exploited even.

I agree. He's really not a well man and has been exploited by those around him.

He's going to crash and burn after this (if he isn't already)

You must have delved deep!

Tell me , as a staunch H and M supporter , do you think this book will enhance or destroy their reputation? Do you think Harry is right to tell his story in this way ?

Genuinely interested .

What a horrible bastard. He's never considered just keeping a dignified silence, then? Selling his feelings to the highest bidder is going to ruin his mental health.

It will certainly never give him what he wants and it seems he still seems to think he will be wanted at the Coronation. He's oblivious - wrapped up in too much shite from M and his other phoney advisers.

Ohnonevermind · 05/01/2023 15:40

I do, not as someone who feels a particular loyalty to the RF. I feel that I’m watching a mentally ill man teetering on the edge of a cliff, making some very poor choices that will send him over.

It's like watching a car crash in slow motion

Coxspurplepippin · 05/01/2023 15:41

#KkKate is revolting - where the hell are you finding these hashtags?

I beg your pardon?

No.

I went on my twitter feed and there they were so please do not accuse me of 'delving deep'.

And no I abhor th Sussex Squad and follow no one like that.

I totally agree. We will have to wait to have the full transcript, but just think of the mental ill effect of this on the 'bad guys' Harry is highlighting - so William, Kate, Camilla etc. - but also just anyone that's ever worked with the palace, helped to bring up the young prince, been in some way tangentially involved in welcoming and facilitating and nurturing Harry, and much later Meghan - what a kick in the teeth. There will be so much overspilling harm from this publication.

And that is why I said twice I didn't want to say what they were. I wish I hadn't now. Don't blame the messenger.

Rhondaa · 05/01/2023 15:43

'The palace learnt absolutely nothing from Diana, they have had this coming for a long time.'

Leant what? That fragile, emotionally vulnerable people are often on a self destruct course? What could they have done better, told him not to marry a grabby woman? I do think they tried to dissuade him.

Cherry60 · 05/01/2023 15:44

Sugarplumfairy65 · 05/01/2023 15:28

I agree. Some people have very short memories.

Then why go for William who had to suffer the same trauma? And why do it like this, then say he wants to maintain his family relationships? He's all over the place.

FirThusThraed · 05/01/2023 15:44

Mirabai · 05/01/2023 15:29

Quite. Who actually gives a fuck.

Yet here you are...

Coxspurplepippin · 05/01/2023 15:44

And the latest excerpt saying he killed 25 Taliban soldiers is really going to help their security.

Where are his advisors for heaven's sake?

Exactly. Sussex supporters aren't often a very #BeKind bunch.

Must depend on the type of accounts the pp follows..

So he killed 25 Taliban soldiers, but William got him in the dog bowl?
The memes are going to be relentless

Livingbyariver · 05/01/2023 15:46

And why is he 'having' to do all this in public? Once the world knows about the Great Dog Bowl Incident, what's next for Harry? How is it going to benefit him in any way, other than financially?

pedigree chum will sign him up to be their Pedigree Chump 🤣

FFS I follow no one like the Sussex Squad or anyone like that. My main feed is british politics, nothing dodgy or odd or Tattle or the other revolting sites.

So stop labelling me. I wish to goodness I had resisted linking what had come up.

So just wind yer neck in janiie
