But to imply he is the helpless victim of an abusive older sibling, defenceless and scared - sorry no. I’m not buying that narrative - it’s incredibly manipulative and insulting to actual victims of abuse.

Exactly, and surely his army training would have clicked into action to defend himself if he really was under physical threat, and then his arse wouldn’t have ended up in the dog bowl.

I don't know, I think it's different within family dynamics, and his family dynamics are obviously particularly complex!

Blossomtoes · 05/01/2023 01:32

so presumably sometime in between Megan feeling suicidal in 2018 and early 2019 they do actually get access to therapists - which is a good thing.

Therapists who aren’t very good at their job by the look of it.

PlinkPlonkFizz · 05/01/2023 01:03

It's all so undignified and grubby. I just don't understand how H thought this was going to garner sympathy or turn people against the RF. I just want the horrible dripfeed to stop

This, I want the drip-feed to stop too. Why can't they focus on this glorious new life they have & the positives of it?

clyspa · 05/01/2023 01:34

I am not sure what to make of this.

Pushing someone is never great but frankly I can't get all that worked up about it to the extent that I would say PW is terrible and H&M are angels - is that his intent?

Telling this story is for what purpose? Make PW look bad (it says they met to discuss their relationship so it wasn't just M and the press) so once again details are missing. Is it to provide another reason they had to leave? Well that's more plausible as PW is the next CEO of the firm so makes sense.

I think the bullying stuff was part of it and I suspect Harry was not willing to hear anything against M or felt it wasn't how it was being reported to PW and PW should believe them.

Ultimately (before we get the posters who are going to phrase this as domestic violence ) the language sounds off - a I know they are royals but it's like the poshest fisticuffs ever and as such a non story for me.

I had an argument with my sister once as teens - she chased me round the house with a knife - another time (older) I went to push past her as she was screaming her head off and she fell into the laundry basket

We were only physical those two times and am sure doesn't make either of us look good but ruin our relationship? Nah.

Wasn’t she suicidal while heavily pregnant. That would be 2019…So Harry had a therapist but couldn’t get Meghan one. Right. Right.

to be a good liar you need a good memory. A forensic one.

The thought of Harry’s arse in the dog bowl really made me laugh, please someone do a meme! It’s just so ungracious, couldn’t Harry have embellished it a bit more? He’s normally so good at porkies, they are royal for goodness sake! couldn’t he say they had drawn swords or had duel at dawn at the very least? Harry has made himself look a right wet drip and not from the water in the dog bowl.

🤣🤣🤣

Greenshake · 05/01/2023 01:35

@ArcaneWireless you should start a merchandise line

jays · 05/01/2023 01:35

Shoving his brother to the ground onto a dog bowl which smashed under the weight leaving him with bruises and cuts on his back makes the future King look good because ‘he cares’? Oh dear. Thankfully it wasn’t his sister eh. Or would that be different.

Squabbledee · 05/01/2023 01:38

Rinoachicken · 05/01/2023 01:27

A few hundred years back, he’d have been thrown in the tower - I’d say being thrown in the dog food is getting off lightly!

😂yup

pillow56 · 05/01/2023 01:38

This doesn’t even make William look bad. It makes him look good for actually caring about the staff she was abusive towards. Multiple HR complaints and resignations don’t come from nowhere

no it doesn't, violence doesn't make anybody look good. He is the next king of England and if he feels the need to resort to violence in a moment of conflict it's worrying.

ArcaneWireless · 05/01/2023 01:39

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the dog bowl…..

The man was supposed to have been a professional soldier.

Yeah he cares about the little people MeGain thought she could horrendous bully. Disgusting behaviour. And Harry not caring makes him just as culpable.

FeelingwearyFeeelingsmall · 05/01/2023 01:42

I was a massive Harry and Megan fan until about 6 months ago. Now I'm fed up of hearing their constant bleats about unfairness and incessant interviews/tv appearances/books about how much they long for privacy and a private life. QEII and the current Queen Camilla both had/have a more private life then them by the simple technique of keeping their mouths shut.

OTOH their dad put them through hell, openly running a mistress alongside their mentally fragile and vulnerable mother. It's a bit rich if he is now asking them to take his feelings into account.

GrimDamnFanjo · 05/01/2023 01:43

The anecdote just raises more questions though?
My main interest is why William didn't seem to have any relationship with Megan?
Surely that can't be right?

ArcaneWireless · 05/01/2023 01:16

.

I have had {and have} ceramic dog bowls, and they are pretty robust articles.
would they actually smash if someone landed on one?
Perhaps.
But why go into all this detail?

It's so tawdry.

I can't believe that Harry is a mewling victim, he got very angry with a Polo pony making the pony rear with a jab to the mouth and bloody sides from spurring. {All on video, on you tube}

Comedyusername · 05/01/2023 01:44

I hate all this, but at the same time, totally love it. More scandal from the spoilt brat please! He's had a challenging life, but please, who hasn't? My dad died when I was 8, and we just quietly get on with it, albeit without the glare of the world's media. You can only go forward with acceptance of your situation!

It was earlier than that they referred to her being suicidal - not heavy pregnancy - the event was in 2018 ` so the timeline does align.

ArcaneWireless · 05/01/2023 01:46

I have fallen arse first on a ceramic dog bowl. Our old dog used to take a mouthful of water away with her. Dripping all the way.

I can confirm. The bowl won and I’m a heifer.

And had a very deep purple ring shaped bruise on my heifer sized arse for weeks.

Superb! Definitely market these!

Miss03852 · 05/01/2023 01:47

Anyone who has ever had a narcissistic tyrant boss knows how awful that is. Do you actually think continuous bullying is better than two brothers having a scrap? Anyone who thinks this has never dealt with an abusive employer before.

What is quite cleaver is after a painfully long documentary mostly about how the royal family protect themselves especially William and using the press, he waits for the book to land the verbal punches and now no denial equals guilt and a denial will be protecting William.

She was very big early on then when pregnant.
