Daily Mail thinks it has evidence. Let's discuss.

Do you think she asks for 27 articles in one day in the DM to be printed?

No.

Right, some of these articles are putting H&M + their kids lives in danger and some think Meghan wants them?!

Thank goodness you’ve clarified this for me. I wouldn’t be able to sleep not knowing this! Hmm

Happy to help! Sleep well xx

How sad that you seem to be such a Meghan supporter that you research this thoroughly… nowt so queer!

How are the articles putting their lives in danger? Really?!

I love fashion! She wore some fabulous colourful outfits for her final farewell engagements, at which time I was working as a fashion journalist so Meghan watching was part of my day job.

But you’re right, I did thoroughly research with my ten seconds of Googling to refresh my memory – better get me some physio for my phone-scrolling thumb, whadda workout it’s been!

You know the type of articles that incite hatred and dehumanise her - call her an unhinged monster, imagine how her funeral would take shape (another Clarkson piece), imply that the RF need to take urgent action to stop her, accuse her of holding Harry hostage & that he needs to be rescued - that sort of thing.

I don't condone anything that incites violence (that JC article shouldn't have been written) but at the same time some of these things are legitimate comments. There are quite a lot of people on Youtube who run channels that focus on the subject of narcissistic abuse and Meghan features quite heavily in their analysis - they recognise the signs of narcissistic abuse in her behaviour and genuinely believe that she is holding Harry hostage through emotional abuse and manipulation. Some who run these channels have suffered this abuse themselves (eg baggage claim) while others are narcissists themselves (or claim to be - ege HG Tudor). My interest in Meghan comes through my interest in narcissistic abuse, having also experienced it and I too recognise some of the signs. You might argue that we can't see what goes on behind closed doors but the fact is that they are living much of their lives on camera and Meghan has behaved in ways that some would define as abuse while it's being recorded. Although abuse towards others outside the relationship is more apparent (eg blatantly lying to cause hurt and damage to her in-laws). And all the bullying allegations towards staff etc.

Wanderingoff · 21/12/2022 18:23

@meinteresamucho i think that they’re both dysfunctional but I think it’s ludicrous to think Harry is some powerless pawn

theyrr both using each other to play out a fantasy

her to be a princess and lauded figure

him to fuck over his family - I think he didn’t want to do it himself so he choose her as someone who he could
use as the trigger

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/12/2022 18:23

If Kate normally wore pale colours/white/beige, and this was an unusual colour choice for her, it might have been a swipe at Megan, but Kate normally wears bright, colourful clothes, so burgundy was pretty standard choice for her.

PeekAtYou · 21/12/2022 18:26

She wore a bright red for last year's service.

This is why I keep Meghan heavily in my prayers. This is utterly deranged, no wonder she fears for her life.

Another nasty mean girl article from Amanda Platell. It wasn't long ago she was ripping into Kate for being a 'waity Katy' stupid women.

When Harry says out of his own mouth that it was his choice to leave yet people insist on believing the words of YouTubers who cyber harass Meghan to make a living.

I'll take opinions like yours over theirs. Equal blame over directing the vitriol at just Meghan.

How is it deranged? Multiple people have accused her of bullying which is abuse. The allegations are robust and credible. She behaves in an abusive way towards others in public by accusing them of things that are demonstrably false (not all of them but many of them) and has done things like level false allegations at her inlaws while elderly members of the family were very probably dying. Seems pretty reasonable to me but if you could explain why that's deranged I'd be fascinated to hear your thought processes.

Wanderingoff · 21/12/2022 18:35

It’s insane the vitriol Meghan gets. Pure misogyny.

my view is that she’s an extremely annoying person who has grown up thinking that success means being rich and having causes as is the American way. I would never be friends with her

BUT she quite clearly doesn’t want to kill puppies. Nor do I think she wants people to live in poverty etc. she’s just ambitious and dysfunctional.

there are so so so so many much worse men who have public profiles who don’t get the hate.

I’ve heard that there’s even a member of the royal family who was really good friends with a paedophile even after it was common knowledge. Now THAT I think is evil.

I'm glad H&M are able to provide security for themselves and long may that continue. This is where I will leave you.

Yes this is utterly bonkers. You CANNOT diagnose personality disorders, narcissism - whatever - over the internet FGS!

My god it makes me so made the way she is treated! and I don't especially like her! but to accuse her of being abusive...?!Confused

meinteresamucho · 21/12/2022 18:42

People discuss abusive men all the time. I don't see why we can't discuss abusive behaviour when it's potentially carried out by women. Prince Charles involvement with JS has been widely discussed too.

meinteresamucho · 21/12/2022 18:43

I haven't diagnosed anything but multiple people have accused her of bullying including Jason Knauf who used to work with her. Bullying is abuse. The broadsheets have covered this. It's a valid point even if you don't like it.

Claims of bullying should always be investigated, of course.
Has there been a fair, impartial investigation into these claims?

Buckingham Palace investigated their internal process but buried the report. We don't know why.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she was absolutely awful to work for.

but do you think Charles is a super nurturing boss? I imagine he’s a total bullying prick.

Andrew also a complete bastard as a I understand it

the point is the different standards applied to her

meinteresamucho · 21/12/2022 18:50

We don't know - they've said they won't release that information which is why we need a free press. They've reported the accusations and released a number of names. The Sunday Times reporter who broke the story discusses this on the BBC documentary the Princes and the Press. He says the people he interviewed were still visibly distressed when talking about it several years later and seemed to be traumatised by their experience.
