Daily Mail thinks it has evidence. Let's discuss.

What can we do about it though Rousette? The press can be vile, JC is a case in point. The police have said JC's article wasn't a hate crime (or they don't think it was) though so realistically is there anything else that can be done? Thankfully there have been some changes for the better in that phone hacking is hopefully a thing of the past and photographers can't swarm people the way they used to. But when it goes too far against someone what action can be taken and how do we decide it's gone too far?

I honestly don't know. Keep shouting from the rooftops that the dehumanisation of women like this in the press is not on. Complain to ipsos about articles that does this. Shout it out to anyone that will listen.

I think we are due a sea change, I thought Caroline Flack might've brought it, but sadly no.

What about Zara, Pippa and the men's ties, merely a coincidence?

Pippa? Is she part of the royal family? She is not Xmas Confused

This thread is insane and anyone who thinks it was coordinated or a response to Megs' complaint one day after they were aired are dwelling in a conspiracy theory. It's a sign that you are over involved and may be an indicator of poor mental health. Look after yourselves, get off the internet and focus on your own lives and families. You will be happier for it🎄Xmas Smile

It was a week, not a day.

Of course Pippa was in on it – not royal but royal-adjacent, part of the squad. And also a useful burgundy herring!

Please don’t hurl around phrases like “indicator or poor mental health” about people who are mostly just killing time larking around on the internet – it’s as bad as the crowd that keep diagnosing Meghan as “a narcissist” based on “an expert YouTube video”. Maybe people enjoy fashion, royal watching, and lighthearted conspiracy frolics about ugly coats at a Christmas singalong?

ZingCarryOn · 22/12/2022 09:21

That's incorrect @pelargoniums , it wasn't a week.

Meghan complained about being forced to wear muted colours in episode 5, which was aired on 15 December at 8am. Kate's Carols took place on the same day, on 15 December. Their outfits would have been planned weeks ahead as this was being filmed.

Look here for the array of bright and mute colours worn at the event.

Believing in conspiracy theories is indeed associated with poor mental health and it is good advice to focus on RL when you get over involved online.

Yes. A coincidence. It’s a Christmas colour at a Christmas service. Pippa isn’t a Royal so she’s irrelevant and Zara isn’t even titled.

Alleged bully. They have told us how they felt via ugly and despicable name calling in royal books, they need to come out and say with their entire chest what Meghan did to them.

Again, it is disgusting that the institution are covering this alleged incident up.

You see several publications have called Meghan a bully and yet she hasn’t sued any. Which is surprising as she loves suing people.
Also, most people go through their whole adult lives without being accused of being a bully, whereas for Meghan there are very credible allegations going back to her college days.
Finally I imagine a lot of victims of workplace abuse don’t want their names plastered across the world’s media because they want to work again and also because your repeated posts show there are swathes of people who think Meghan can do no wrong. Many of her supporters seem dogged in the extreme.
But yes entirely their fault for not broadcasting their humiliation and despair and the palace’s fault for not publishing the damning report. If you were Meghan and this kept happening to you though wouldn’t you consider maybe I am the problem??

You are wrong. Meghan talked about muted tones to not clash with senior royals in episode 3, released 8 December. She later discussed her farewell tour rainbow wardrobe in episode 5, released 15 December – this is probably where you’re getting confused.

Dated receipts showing the media coverage of the muted tones comments all say 8 December. By most people’s reckoning, 8 Dec to 15 Dec is a week.

Did you watch it? She never said she was forced. She said she chose to do that so as not to stand out but to blend in.

Why misconstrue what she actually said?

Roussette · 22/12/2022 09:54

whereas for Meghan there are very credible allegations going back to her college days

Could you expand on that? Bullying at college. That has never been mentioned on any M&H thread. I'd be interested to see a verified source of that

meinteresamucho · 22/12/2022 10:13

If you're referring to my comments, nobody has diagnosed Meghan based on a Youtube video. People who have experienced narcissistic abuse know what it is and can recognise its hallmarks when it looks to be happening to other people. That's what happened with me. I found it interesting that channels devoted to discussing narcissism and abuse which I've listened to in the past, long before MM ever arrived on the scene, discuss her and her relationship with Harry at length. They are careful to state that this is simply their opinion and that you should come to your own conclusions but the perspective of these victims (or perpetrators in some cases) is a valid part of the discussion about educating people about abuse and what it potentially looks like. When people saw what looked to be abuse on Love Island it was discussed online and in the media and Women's Aid even made a statement. Why can we discuss and name men but not women who treat others badly?

So she chose to wear muted colours. Surely that's entirely up to her. In fact, as per the NF doc she often wears white, cream, camel, black, beige anyway. They suit her. As pointed out several times already, there's plenty of pictorial evidence of the women in the RF wearing the same colours at the same time at major events - Trooping the Colour, Ascot etc. In fact there was one instance at Ascot where pretty much all the women wore blue.

It's odd that the DM is usually derided, until there is an article snarking away at Kate, when suddenly it becomes the positor of all the truth.

Anyway, in my opinion this great royal burgundy parade was a cheeky swipe at Meghan and cements my thoughts that Kate Middleton is a massive BULLY.

Shame on her.

OP posts:
Abraxan · 22/12/2022 10:35

Meghan said you couldn't wear the same colour as a senior royal when on engagements. The talk is at the concert they all wore the same colour to prove her wrong.

But William, Catherine and their children often where colour co-ordinated clothes, don't they? It wasn't something new for that night.

I'd imagine their outfits has been planned for several weeks.

Coxspurplepippin · 22/12/2022 10:38

So, you 'think' that Kate is a massive bully based on her wearing a burgundy coat, yet you have a go at people suggesting Meghan is a bully due to many documented instances of her bullying palace staff, that she hasn't refuted or started any legal action over? Well, that sounds fair.

Abraxan · 22/12/2022 10:38

Didn't see that some of the other women had also worn the same colour. I had assumed it was just that it's a winter type shade.

Who knows. 🤷‍♀️

I'd have still assumed their outfits were chosen weeks ago tbh though.

meinteresamucho · 22/12/2022 10:41

I've never said that these videos offered anything more than an opinion. It's the Meghan worshipers who claimed they're some sort of diagnosis. I formed my own opinions long before I ever came across them (despite having been aware of the channels for some time) but I was interested to see that others who had direct experience of abuse were seeing the same things and making the same observations. You can continue to paint the situation differently but it's in contradiction to what I've actually said in my posts.

Roussette · 22/12/2022 10:41

I hate maroon. It was my school uniform colour. That's all I know Grin

All I’m trying to clear up in that post is the repeated assertion that this all happened in a day, when the dates show it was a week.

Chose an assortment of receipts – credible Independent, Town & Country for the horsey set, Mail because I knew someone would bite Wink. It’s not “the positor of all the truth” – but it does show pp was incorrect that Meghan’s claims were broadcast on 15 December.

Yes, Kate Middleton is a massive bully. She terrified Meghan and made her cry, then LIED to the press, shameful behaviour.

Meghan did refute the claims, she called it a smear campaign, which it was. Right before Oprah, that's why many saw through it😅

Tell me when those bully employees (who spent the last four years calling her names in papers) are ready to stop hiding behind anonymity and NDAs.
