Well well, reviews are in and now its time to blame some one else.

Speaking on her podcast hours after the release of the final three episodes on Netflix, Schofield said: “From what I’m being told, the Sussexes are a bit disappointed with the final product.”
“The Sussexes feel like the docuseries leans too much into the drama and victimhood — more than they had anticipated… Today, Meghan wants to be seen as a thought leader and a changemaker, and they want to put the past behind them,” she added.
The podcast hose also added that Meghan ‘recognizes that the public wants to move on’ from their royal drama as well.
Schofield further shared that the Sussexes’ displeasure arises from the fact that they did not have much creative control over the project.
“Ultimately, the final project is not necessarily a love letter to their causes, and it is not the vehicle that they were looking for to set the record straight,” Schofield said.

It came out well, I thought.

they didn't say anything particularly shocking but it confirmed what a lot of us thought already.

I found the key moment to be Abigail Spencer saying - I paraphrase - "I still can't work out what the hell happened".

whynotwhatknot · 16/12/2022 13:00

they mean they havent got alot of support so are blaming netflix

A thought leader - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can’t imagine anyone cares, why can’t they just move on with their own lives. They need to let it go.

500 threads a day for days on end on this subject and MN posters think that they need to let it go. The evidence on this site is that everyone cares a bit too much about something they know nothing about. if attention is what they want, they are certainly getting it. You do know there is no such thing as bad publicity?

Perhaps everyone else needs to move on with their own lives?

RaRaRaspoutine · 16/12/2022 13:19

The obsession with this woman on here is on Piers Morgan level insanity.

Interesting. I think the proof will be in the pudding. Will they now move on and focus on their own future or will they continue to talk about the RF?

Talking about the RF is literally all they have, no one is interested in whatever bandwagon jumping cause they want to muscle in on. Grifters.

oakleaffy · 16/12/2022 13:29

They are not happy at being portrayed as professional victims?
Well, that is their narrative “Poor, hard done by us” on the World’s tiniest 🎻 violin.

Wibble128 · 16/12/2022 13:32

Oh dear
What a pity
Never mind

RosalindsAFuckingNightmare · 16/12/2022 13:32

Reading the room at last.

Bestcatmum · 16/12/2022 13:33

I watched most of it to see if I could get a balanced view on the whole thing but it was so boring I just couldn't make it to the end.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 16/12/2022 13:51

I thought you meant Philip Schofield there and have never heard of Kinsey Schofield - is she some sort of friend of H&M's or just someone else after a bit of attention?

As usual I'll take proper notice if something comes from the couple themselves and not unless

Insaneinthemembraneee · 16/12/2022 13:56

So they haven't gained the sympathy they'd hoped for, so now they'll backtrack and blame Netflix.

I wish the pair of them would fuck off to the Bermuda Triangle never to be seen or heard again!

Lonelycrab · 16/12/2022 13:58

Not another fucking thread about this shit😩

Cant you toddle off to the Mail, there’s around 50 (!!!) articles on them today if you include the sidebar.

Bigdamnheroes · 16/12/2022 13:58

This is ridiculous. What did they expect exactly?

I haven't watched it and won't. Sick to death of hearing about them tbh.

Forums are a space for every one, so if you dont like it either dont read or stop acting like there here for your personal use. 🙄

Ironic that the main reason they said they left the RF was have more control of the narrative and here they are with their new ‘Firm’ (Netflix) and they don’t have control there either. 🙄

Fleabigg · 16/12/2022 14:12

I know editing can skew the tone of a programme but this was a series made up of their home footage, their interviews and input from their friends and ‘team’. If it wasn’t what they wanted perhaps H&M can take the $100m and go and quietly do some good with it. Won’t hold my breath. I can’t imagine the breathtaking arrogance that would be involved in thinking Netflix wanted a significant deal with them on the basis of anything other than dirt and gossip on the royal family. What did they think their series was going to be about?

pinneddownbytabbies · 16/12/2022 14:17

She wants to be a thought leader? Not entirely sure what she means by that.

I'm not at all surprised that the documentary isn't entirely how they expected it to be though. Unless the two of them had been present in the editing suite, there was no way they could control how it came out.

Twizbe · 16/12/2022 14:21

I get the sense that some bridges were starting to be rebuilt when the Queen died. I suspect that was the first time Megan might have understood the difference between royalty and celebrity. I blame Harry massively for not helping her more with the culture shock.

However, their series and book were so well advanced they couldn't back out. I think now they do want to build some bridges and move on.

BellePeppa · 16/12/2022 14:22

My New Year’s resolution is not read or comment on any more articles on this over exposed pair. I didn’t watch the Oprah interview or this Netflix reality show but I still comment too much. I want them to move on and shut up so I need to do the same (but not until 1st Jan 😁).

Museya15 · 16/12/2022 14:24

Two bitter twisted people.

So will they need to do more?

Yes, I agree.

Op, why are you reading this bullshit from a so called "royal expert".

According to the article you posted:
From what I’m being told, the Sussexes are a bit disappointed... blah blah blah.

Who told her?
Where did she get this alleged information from?
Has she just made it up?
Is her "source" Susan from down the road?

Nothing says 'I don't care' like posting on a forum about it Grin

LisaJool · 16/12/2022 14:34

Thought leader and change maker? With who? Is Megan really that deluded that she thinks her Netflix docuseries is going to make the RF revamp their constitution? I didn't really have an opinion on H & M, but the more I hear them speak I feel they must be smoking something.

blacksax · 16/12/2022 14:38

The best way to influence thoughts and effect change in an institution is from a position on the inside, surely?

If that is truly what she wanted to do, then she's probably blown it by now.
