imagine just waiting to read/hear what lies have been told about you on a daily basis. I think that has been the exact position that Meghan has been in, and why they wanted to put their side.

To be honest, none of us know what is lies and what is not.

Have you read what people like Jeremy Clarkson said about Meghan? It's not just anonymous twitter users - there are well know people who seem to have a psychopathic obsessive hatred of her. And it is definitely racist, misogynist and classist.

I don't agree Thomas Markle is not entitled to see his grandchildren. He paid MM's school fees. He supported her. He is her father. His daughter has tried to make a lot of money from publicity and if TM has done so that's fine and I tend to believe him over MM anyway.. He has been hung out to dry by the one side neflix documentary as has King Charles and Prince William.

If my Dad went to the media saying negative thamings about me or this that weren't right over time I would get really pissed off to the point I will stop engaging.

Which is why it doesn’t make sense to me they’re purposely doing it to others, knowing how it feels.

They talk about generational curses, but then inflict this upon others on purpose

Maybe they think it’s deserved, but it’s very hypocritical. They are not thinking of the children involved

Paying someone's school fees does not entitle you to access if you also treat them badly. You cannot buy a relationship with your child or grandchild.

What he describes is a really fucked up, sick fantasy. It says a lot about him. And the rag published it! The editor needs sacking.

Grandparents are never entitled to see grandchildren. Paying doesn’t come into it! You can’t buy the right to be in someone’s life.

Clarkson’s trademark is being outrageous. He’s a professional misogynist who rants for effect. Nobody with more than two brain cells takes any notice of him. He’s the same as Piers Morgan with worse hair and clothes.

I was shocked to read Clarkson’s hate- and he says it’s a “ Visceral hate”.
What a nasty little man.

Pointing out inconsistencies in their stories is indeed a world away from Clarkson’s bile.

@Xenia that sort of attitude is from the Victorian days. Of course he has no right to his grandchildren, what does paying school fees have to do with anything. I don’t expect my children to behave in a certain way if I pay for their education. No human has any right over another human, and he has been very toxic and shouldn’t be allowed to have an influence in his g-children’s lives. Attitudes like yours are outdated.

And yet he gets published in a national newspaper.... why would he be published if noone takes any notice of him? He actually has more power to shape and sway opinion than you are admitting.

How is a huge media platform in two national newspapers “zero power”? Saying it doesn’t make it so. Ignoring his hate speech doesn’t make it go away.

The man hadn’t even been given the courtesy of meeting with Harry at any time in the relationship. It was disgraceful. No wonder he went rogue and had silly pictures taken.

And for Harry and Meghan to think that it was acceptable to have him arrive in the Uk and within days have to go through a Royal wedding they must have been mad. Meghan claims she wasn’t prepared for her role - well neither was her father prepared for his.

William being angry is not an issue, Screaming and shouting at your brother as an adult is an issue. It is not acceptable behaviour.

I'm sure William was furious with Harry - but "scream"? I doubt it. Do men scream? Harry had probably expected his brother to be supportive, as usual. And didn't Harry say he was scared/terrified? A man who has been on two tours of Afghanistan? "His" rather than "the" truth?

Exactly this.

One is subject to racism online and in the media at an appalling level. One is harassed and berated continually. One has two children she now has to worry about in terms of safety and experiences of said racism and abuse. One has minimal family and institutional support. One speaks out against said treatment and then is absolutely vilified for it. The other one now receives an obscene amount of pocket money from the Duchy Estate. Maybe I'd be smiling and keeping that stiff upper lip like a good girl too in that position.

It seems the hatred on here, in the media and online towards Meghan is greater than that towards pervy Andrew.
