Anyone basing their dislike of someone based on hate pushed by the media is quite frankly an idiot.....I don't have a strong opinion on either of them. I do however believe them, it doesn't take a genius to work out how this has panned out.

The thing is the whole series is intended to make them look like a lovely, innocent loved up couple who have been treated terribly by all those around them. That's literally the reason they made it. It's up to you if you believe it or not but after all the lies she's told and him being a not too bright wet lettuce who does as he's told I don't believe any of it. It's all one big performance IMO and she will do anything to try and make Kate and William look bad. I don't like her and I think she's very manipulative (which is why a lot of people believe her I think) but I really don't care enough about her to hate her.

I've never disliked her, found the active dislike for her baffling. Then again I don't read tabloid or glossy gossip. I haven't watched the documentary, but I suspect it proves what I suspect about the unfounded mass hate for her.

I think she has the best taste in wedding attire of all the royals hands down.
She probably has the best taste in royal husbands too, but that's quite slim pickings really!

I think being disliked was more pronounced in Meghan’s case because she was being compared with her sister-in-law, Kate. That’s naturally going to cause internal problems too.

The media were using a ‘goodie’ vs ‘baddie’ narrative to sell stories. Kate was the goodie. Meghan was the baddie. And it sounds like Meghan was not willing to tolerate a binary narrative - and I say good for her.

I am also surprised if Kate was comfortable with being the loved one and Meghan being the hated one? It also raises questions asking if Kate has a sense of justice if her modus operandi is to be silent and do nothing?

She's gorgeous, clever and funny. Bit sanctimonious and too heavy on the "wide-eyed naif" shit but compared to some of the weirdos in the BRF, she's the one I'd want to go for cocktails with. Well her and Eugenie.

I find her incredible smug and annoying. But no worse than loads of other American celebrities. I am not keen on her, but also I am not really a fan of any of that kind of celeb. I don't hate her though, I can understand her not being popular or people not being fans, but the level of hate for her does seem disproportionate.

And Kate has been complicit in this shit forever. THe pick-me girl stuff is obvious. See also: Kate telling Beatrice there was a fancy dress party when it wasn't fancy dress so she turned up in a costume, wearing a pale lemon that photographed as white or cream to Meghan's wedding, that Vogue article that slaughtered her and her mother, etc. Extremely telling that Kate has zero female friends and any that are mentioned are actually "friends of the couple". If William ever divorces her she better hold on tight. She could have made it easy by befriending Meghan but instead relished the comparisons of St Kate versus the evil Meghan, and no, she has no sense of justice - she is in it to the bitter end of getting the crown as she has no other personality, likes or interests. Her mother is to blame up to a point but as an adult Kate has done the most to be praised whilst doing fuck-all actual work. Shitty Meghan stories were easy wins for Kate.
