As per the thread title.

Right from the word go, Meghan and Harry were not telling the truth. About anything.

Now the Netflix series has come out it just proves it, over and over again.

She meant the standard English definition of the word “niggle” (“cause slight but persistent annoyance, discomfort, or anxiety”) derived from the Old Norse hnøggr (“stingy”), in modern usage since the 1700s, and nothing to do with the word you’re hinting at 🙃

Yes very funny.

Robert tells us Danny Baker hasn't a racist bone in his body and we should believe him? DB knew exactly what he was doing. Meghan and Harry had announced their relationship in 2016 and this was 2019**. It was well documented that Meghan was mixed race. A person with hundreds of thousands followers and millions of listeners wasn't aware? Poor attempt at deflection, similar to here at times when the only defence for racism is to accuse others of playing the race card.
Neil Basu knew and as he said '' Meghan received disgusting and very real" threats against her life when she was living in the U.K."If you'd seen the stuff that was written and you were receiving it, the kind of rhetoric that's online, if you don't know what I know, you would feel under threat all of the time''

Danny Baker fed into the beliefs of those, including police officers, who felt entitled to say what they liked and some of them issued death threats.
Thankfully Neil Basu and his team were able to deal with some.

** This is from 2019 ''Kensington Palace staff are devoting more resources to deleting comments targeting Meghan, and blocking abusive Twitter and Instagram accounts. Software is being used to filter out the use of the n-word as well as emojis of guns and knives.''
Danny being in the media wouldn't have had a clue, would he? All before any interviews with Oprah, Spare etc

So the OED is now part of the conspiracy against Meghan?

Rockybooboo · 13/01/2024 19:46

Who is the OED?

The Oxford English Dictionary

I have no idea what that has to do with it.

Curiosity got the better of me and I read the DM 'Straight out of Compton' article for the first time (its now 7 years old), it didn't paint a pretty picture of the general area Meghans' mother lived in, thats for sure, although they did report that Doria's house was worth $700,000.

What surprised me the most, were the comments ...... the vast majority were supportive of her and Harry, there was the odd one here and there saying he should find a nice English girl, but in general it was overwhelmingly supportive and complimentary of Meghan with a general tone of Harry has done well for himself and hope it works out for them.

Very different to comments one would see now on a DM article, but certainly at the early stage of their relationship, it would seem Daily Mail readers were not against her at all, if the comments on that article are anything to go by.

Oops sorry I mentioned him.

You couldn't know what I was going to say. We both pressed at the same moment. 🙂

You are indeed getting confused with other sites.

It happens all the time, on this site.

You're right there and two new derogatory threads about H&M this week over some trivial award. Is it a distraction or something else?

It’s definitely a personal distraction for people posting here which you clearly indulge as well. Unless you believe you are achieving something productive and not just providing a foil?

Roussette · 14/01/2024 10:53

What does that mean? Posters that disagree with you shouldn't be posting? i.e. the thread title saying M&H were clearly lying is fact and no one should dispute that?!

jeffgoldblum · 14/01/2024 10:56

No I believe @AliceOlive , is saying that everyone regardless of opinion is allowed to post without snide attacks from other posters, whatever their opinions are.

I didn't read it like that but thx for your explanation

That was my exact question for @Rockybooboo bunny.

I indulge in it because since the whole Jeffrey Epstein, I've been reading up on the Royal Family and corruption. The whole thing blew up with Epstein's list last week. I suspected that there would suddenly be a load of threads started about H&M. The press do the same, suddenly release loads of stories H&M when there is something the Royal Family would not want to be discussed. It makes me feel uneasy.

When has anyone said that?

Mybootsare · 14/01/2024 13:24

I agree @Rockybooboo like clockwork.

I’m not interested in any of the RF but it’s bizarre and quite sick how focused some people are on Harry and Megan.

Look at the comments on a daily mail article about prince andrew /Epstein and the sheer amount of comments and the anger within them pales in significance to anything posted about Megan. There are even comments under his articles criticising Meghan!!! It’s like they will use any excuse to drag her name up.

Are you suggesting that I’m part of this conspiracy?

AliceOlive · 14/01/2024 13:27

Oh Heavens. That must why Harry is being given the award. It’s a Hollywood thing, and hollywood was quite involved with the Epstein. Poor Harry, a pawn in two countries.

See with all due respect, I have to disagree, just because you have suddenly become aware of this doesn't mean the rest of us , who have followed from the very beginning, were unaware.
Whenever something happens with Harry posters like to discuss it , it really is that simple!
