Can Charles remove Harry's 'prince' title

I've noticed that the Removal of Titles Bill is going through Parliament and people have been talking a lot about Harry and Meghan losing their titles. Does this just refer to the Duke and Duchess titles, or does this also include stripping Harry of being a prince?

Very different.

Meghan is still married to a member of the RF for starters. SF hasn't been for 25 years. And we pay for her. To keep her quiet presumably.

Sigma33 · 12/12/2022 19:17

I am glad you admit Meghan is 'flogging' her title. Finally we agree!

Roussette · 12/12/2022 19:18

They were your words. Not my choice of words

Sigma33 · 12/12/2022 19:18

But you agreed M is flogging her title, as is SF

Sigma33 · 12/12/2022 19:19

Roussette · 12/12/2022 19:08

You're happy with her flogging her title. Don't criticise Meghan for doing the same then.

Doing the same

Sigma33 · 12/12/2022 19:20

We get to the truth!

Roussette · 12/12/2022 19:21

I'm bored with sparring with you now. And it must be brain numbingly boring for everyone else. Say what you want, I'm not responding anymore.
As I said before, enjoy the rest of your evening. Have the last word if you want.

antelopevalley · 12/12/2022 19:23

@Sigma33 Is this a game for you?

Sigma33 · 12/12/2022 19:36

Why would it be?

I am not a Royalist.

I recognise the history of the RF, including slavery, racism etc

I can also see the hypocrisy of H&M's claims

We don't pay for Sarah Ferguson.

Sigma33 · 12/12/2022 19:37

Why does it matter it is a 'game'? H&M don't have to play

Roussette · 12/12/2022 19:39

Do you think she pays rent, heating and bills at Royal Lodge, Windsor where she lives? I think not. She lives there for free

She has little income and we pay for her to live in 30 roomed, 90 acre Royal Lodge, Windsor. And very much more, most likely, but that would be hidden from public view

Sigma33 · 12/12/2022 19:42

You seem a bit upset about SF

stuntbubbles · 12/12/2022 19:46

Fergie might live for free financially speaking, but whomst among us would want to pay the price to having married Randy Andy?

So whatever SF's faults, that excuses any behaviour of H&M?

Interesting. Might say more about you than the RF or H&M (who have, lets face it, not condemned the RF as an institution)

How is that paying for her? The lodge is tenanted to PA and he pays for that himself. Andrew is responsible for his own bills. He receives no money from the state. He's allowed to have anyone he wants stay over. Same as anyone renting from a private landlord can. It's not costing you anything...except clearly a little bit of envy.

LuluBlakey1 · 12/12/2022 21:04

We don't pay for Prince Andrew's living expenses. He pays his own and receives no public money.

We don't pay any bills for Prince Andrew at Royal Lodge. He has a 100 year lease on the property and spent about 6 million updating it and paying for that lease. He pays all of his own bills and for the maintenance of the property- the public, quite rightly, pays nothing for him. Up to him who he allows to live there.

Roussette · 12/12/2022 21:07

Stay over? What a night or two? Grin
She lives there for nothing and has done for over a decade.

Envy hahahaha. What of living with Andrew?! You are kidding I hope!!!! He is objectionable and that is me being polite.

The Queen used to fund him to the tune of £250,000 a year. He's hardly going out to work is he? He pays £250 a week for 30 roomed, 90 acred Royal Lodge along with 2 other lodges and 6 cottages on the Estate. Value! Less than a poky one bedroomed flat on the outskirts of Windsor!

I suppose he's been left dosh in the Queen's will now. But let's not pretend he's an independent man who hasn't been funded all his life. Apart from his meagre navy pension of course

antelopevalley · 12/12/2022 21:11

Andrew got it on the cheap.

You're obsessed by room numbers😂. You can only sit in one at a time

Roussette · 12/12/2022 22:07

That makes it OK then. Of course it does Hmm

It's an illustration of the vastness of the Estate, that's all.

lynneuk · 12/12/2022 22:27

We all ready have a Prince & Princess of Wales Harry will be Prince Henry Mountbatten Windsor William and Harry were Wales`s when Charles was Prince of Wales

Nicely sidestepped from H&M's titles

Mountbatten Windsor is used when there’s no title used. Harry is just HRH The Prince Henry.
