It's landed - 3 episodes with what I assume is 3 next week.

If I'm recording a video diary of an a day and something happens that makes me cry r u saying that she shouldn't be crying? I mean surely If she wasn't crying some would moan how she emotionless, she honestly cannot win!

If you were filming a video diary about your day you would surely just say you cried because of XYZ. You wouldn't whip out the camera whilst you were actually crying about the issue and record yourself crying. Unless you were vlogging and looking for more views then yes that's very odd not normal behaviour.

What actual part of the documentary is she just turning on camera to cry? Because what I've seen she talks then cries then talks?

Rainbowsandbutterflies1990 · 08/12/2022 14:53

Also how do u know it isn't cut like that in editing!

clyspa · 08/12/2022 14:54

Silver tree (yes it's her name I wasn't sure before) hasn't seen the amount of interest in royals before / I mean no shit

Paps are around and now she's worried someone will be in MM trailer

MM complains to Canadian police about paps in cars outside her house they say nothing they can do 'because of who you are dating'

OP posts:
Beees · 08/12/2022 14:54

But she isn't looking for my views she isn't putting on YouTube it will or will not be used in a documentary, at editors decision. honestly I belive she will never be able to do anything right because people will just pick apart everything and veey clearly do.

That was my point. The only people who would film midway through them actually crying would be those intending on the video being seen such a vloggers or people posting attention seeking videos on tiktok.

It's not about what either of them are doing. I was merely pointing out that it is absolutely not the behaviour of a normal person to film themselves crying. Honestly no one does that, it's just weird.

clyspa · 08/12/2022 14:56

Then she got a death threat so she needed security

MBC hired her a bodyguard who said it was most intense he'd known

Maireas · 08/12/2022 14:56

The Canadian police sound a bit shit.

clyspa · 08/12/2022 15:01

Security guys says writes letters etc they sent to london and royal protection people 'handled it'

Its now April 2017 - friends wondering if Harry worth it

Texts about seeing eachother - looks like twice a month really

I haven't watched it and won't but can anyone say if these two have said a single positive thing about Britain or their life in the royal family? A life which Meghan actively and enthusiastically sought out and both of them wanted to remain a part of?

From what I can see from the reports, it seems like relentless negativity from two people who enjoyed massive unearned privilege, funded by the taxpayer.

Jennybeans401 · 08/12/2022 15:08

I'm enjoying the second episode. Starting to think that we live in a culture with so much ingrained misogyny and racism that we've all been tough on Meghan.

clyspa · 08/12/2022 15:11

Meeting will and Kate - in ripped jeans and bare
feet (they are younger than you M so were they shocked?)

She's a hugger didn't realise it's jarring for alot of people (meaning them?) she realised formality on outside carried through on inside - quite reasonably she thought there was public face and then everyone relaxes behind closed doors

Well maybe if they know you? I expect you learn to keep fences up for a bit longer with new partners till they stay? Or maybe not snd it's their way / doesn't mean they are awful people

My husbands family are very different from mine and that's just how they are

Also she did have that with Eugenia etc as we saw the photos of them messing about Halloween night

So I'm getting she's not comfortable with them but not yet why this makes them awful

Rhondaa · 08/12/2022 15:11

'Agreed. But what about the privacy of those they are (not so) subtly slagging off here? Surely the first awkward meeting between them and the Waleses should remain private?no one asked them if it was ok to share it.'

Exactly! People aren't allowed to scrutinise them and criticise their actions oh nooooo yet they can do it as much as they please. Honestly why the PA comments about W&C? it reinforces the fact the Sussexes are just driven by jealously. Such a nasty spiteful pair. I'd try a bit of LA wellbeing coaching if I were them. Turn that bile into sunshine or whatever they say over there.

Meghan talks about really loving Christmas at Sandingham the first year she went.

Rhondaa · 08/12/2022 15:13

'She's a hugger didn't realise it's jarring for alot of people'

Yep i mean is she really sneering at cultural differences. Perhaps there's a book one of her allies could recommend so she could educate herself.

Maireas · 08/12/2022 15:14

It's a bit mean about Kate. She may just be a bit reserved or shy, or not be comfortable hugging strangers.
She also deserves privacy and good mental health.

I don't think that's even a cultural difference. I bet lots of Americans aren't necessarily inclined to hug strangers at the first time of meeting. The way she talks about Brits you'd think they were from a different planet.

clyspa · 08/12/2022 15:17

Queen one of first seniors of family she met - didn't know what to expect

But then she says she didn't know she was going to meet her till moments before

Harry says do you know how to curtesy? She thought it was a joke

I just think what did they talk about during all these months? Did she not Google done shot after meeting him? I'm perplexed

From the bits I've seen on the news compared to the hate on MN I cant help thinking that MN is a bit odd in its majority dislike for the couple. They seem to me impulsive, immature and emotional but have been painted as calculating and evil.

The press are awful and the press only print those stories because they sell newspapers. So lots of people do want to hear sensational gossip about them. That's fact. They are going to get defensive.

There is racism in the UK and in the Royal family, not necessarily the immediate family but the firm certainly.

But they contradict themselves often. I suspect as they rewrite the history of decisions they are unhappy with, and that causes offence.

I hope now they have unburdened they can move on with happiness and without damaging he family they have left behind.

clyspa · 08/12/2022 15:22

Harry's like how do you explain it and to an American

Well not by saying nothing till minutes before / would it be really surprising as the woman is a Queen

Would going to the White House to meet the prez not assume some protocol?

I'm not sure Harry is finding her relating her intro the the Queen funny

I think MM thinks it's silly at the end of the day and am sure many republicans would agree but we'd hope people don't sneer when it's you joining them

OP posts:
bakalava · 08/12/2022 15:22

What becomes obvious from her own statements is a massive cultural difference and an even bigger class difference and a complete lack of self-awareness. Somebody who wants to be the icon, the revolutionary and would probably have married anybody to get the chance to have a go. There isn't anything wrong with that but don't expect viewers to fall for the lovey dovey faces. The attraction/infatuation is really one sided.

WeWereInParis · 08/12/2022 15:22

The way she talks about Brits you'd think they were from a different planet.

Yeah there are a few comments that are very "Brits are like this, Americans are like that".

British people find it hard not to see the RF as part of their own extended family (this wasn't a comment by M&H, but a contributor)

British people don't hug

British people don't wave like American people (she's talking about a royal wave and not wanting to do it like an American).

It's "very forward and very American" for Meghan to have asked Harry for a second date. This is Harry's comment, quoted by Meghan.

clyspa · 08/12/2022 15:23

Eugenia, Jack snd fergie were there it seems,,,,,

I wonder if it's a showbiz/celeb thing. I'm surprised when I watch Graham Norton and see all the guests hug each other at the beginning and then I find out that they only met for the first time in the green room. For some people I think a hug is just like a handshake. But they need to accept that not everyone feels the same.

clyspa · 08/12/2022 15:30

Ok so now the stuff others have posted about. Family impressed , maybe surprised a ginger could attract a beautiful, intelligent woman but that he was 'dating an American actress clouded their judgement more than anything, she's an American actress, this don't last'

Well not Eugenia, Jack or Fergie presumably

As an aside I've long learnt from my own family that it's best never to speculate to people about their partners but leave them to it - it's going to kill me when my kids start dating and I'll have to smile and nod even if I think 'I don't like your boyfriend why can't he eat with his mouth closed' or whatever- just say nothing!!

OP posts:
clyspa · 08/12/2022 15:35

MM stating that dating actress was the prob from U.K. perspective / idea of Hollywood etc

Easy for them to typecast that

Who's them? I don't know RF, Brits or both

Now we see some stuff she was cast in 'hot girl on plane' etc (not me saying this, it's written on the footage)

Love how her ex/ agent plus himself 'got a call, we have this girl she's great, needs an agent snd we love you do,,,,' 🤣

Fact or your truth /Opinion 😂 Maybe you should learn the definition of a fact!

There is racism in the UK and in the Royal family, not necessarily the immediate family but the firm certainly.

Oh really, so come one enlighten us, you have directed this at the UK, name me a single country in the entire planet where there is ZERO rasism? As for accusations for the firm who are the "Firm" and have you any personal experience or is this H&Ms personal truths again and your own bias opinions.
