This is nothing to do with not being silent or calling out racism. It's quite possible to do this without using unnecessarily aggressive and inflammatory language which cheapens and devalues what you say.

Neil Basu has got his own personal beef going on with Priti Patel, the home office and the govt over how he didn't get promotion that he believed he'd been given the nod for. So he's making out that he lost out because of racism rather than not being the best the job. That ties in well with racist threats against MM.

However, it's beyond doubt that she did obviously receive hateful and awful threats and anyone would be scared, particularly someone putting themselves into public situations on a regular basis. I can't imagine anyone not having huge sympathy for her. It must have been very tough.

It makes you realise what the Queen was exposed to on a regular basis as Head of state - particularly as she visited dangerous places because she felt it was the right thing for her to do. She really was a class act.

And Susan Hussey is a bloody disgrace.

If people are willing to pay $5000 to hear Meghan speak, then that's all the good for charity so good on Meghan to be able to command those sums.

So much hatred for a woman that these haters have never met. While denigrating Meghan, they denigrate the woman they hold up as perfect. If Meghan’s achievements before she met Harry were unremarkable, what does that make Kate’s achievement?

The good think about all this hate is that it sets the standard for why Meghan is a bad person and someone to hate. Unsurprisingly, when it gets applied to the other Royals, they produce record breaking behaviours against what Meghan is judged against. It simply hastens the contempt and demise of the Royal Family.

The race issue with that’s currently hitting the news is a really big blow. I feel it’s a real turning point that has sealed the view around the world that the Royal Family is racist. The credibility of the Royal Family is only intact amongst white supremacists. Not a good look and so not in line with the modern world.

Personally, I find none of them inspiring or useful. I feel the most sorry for Kate who is so far removed from what modern females aspire to be. She is stuck in playing a ridiculous out of touch role. She could be so much more, connecting with young woman. This insane grinning is just too much.

But that's not what it says. The article says that someone thinks (probably her pr team) that she could earn $1m a speech on the after dinner speech circuit. There's no evidence she even charged this charity. (Although she does usually ask for her travel expenses. )
