If you know your child and baby grandchild has been threatened, you would be out of your mind with worry. You know very well know that if he was not your son/grandson, he would be all fine and dandy. You would ask first, do you guys have enough for Archie at least? I don't care about you, but is he ok? Have a talk, say , ok, I will support you for a few months/whatever (KC has millions upon millions), but as soon as you start earning, do expect us to pull it off. And why not let H pay then, if you say you won't pay?

Yes, they quit the jobs! Why do you think they should be entitled to our government paying for their security?
Besides, the less high profile the less the security threat. You cannot have it all, if you want the kind of "jobs" they want, then you need to pay for your own security.

The pictures are all over the place with several showing her getting in and sitting in the taxi. So correction. Not apparently but definitely. A few months ago they surfaced with fury on Twitter. I think it was at the time of the pegging nonsense.

What you describe here, “upskirting” is a crime now, actually. If the photographers tried to take, and the papers publish these photos now (often gained by photographers literally lying in the gutter to get the lowest possible angle) then they would be committing a crime. Guess what, they don’t do so anymore.

The commando photo is 100% photoshopped, by the way. If you cared, you could find the original out there.

The fact that you are blaming a young women for the abusive and predatory behaviour of photographers and internet trolls really isn’t a good look you know.

Anyway, it’s a useful reminder that as much as Meghan tried to diminish the abuse Kate received from the press as just being unkindly dubbed “Waity Katey” actually she had an awful time of being besieged and harrassed by journalists and paparazzi (men in their 30s and 40s, almost exclusively ) who verbally abused her, stalked her, upskirted her, hacked her phone, deliberately tried to get revealing pictures of her when she was out having a a social life…often their behaviour was criminal. And yet as on this very page, it’s the young woman in her 20s who is labelled “disgusting” and “lacking in class” because of their behaviour.

And I am not diminishing the “death by clickbait” that Meghan received either, but I find the collective amnesia about this treatment of Kate ridiculous.

I won't be watching, just like I won't be listening to the podcast. Not, however because I don't like Meghan - I have no real reason to dislike her as I don't know her or what is actually true or untrue (fwiw I think some of her and harry's actions since leaving were likely unwise, but also that she has been subject to racism and unnecessary vitriol, but I don't know that much about it). It's just that I only get a few hours to myself a week and I prefer science programmes or comedy. I don't really like "self help" type genre and I'm not big on celebrity interviews as I find them a bit gushy.

Why am I posting on this thread, you might ask? Well, simply to show that, if something is not to your taste, you can just be not that interested. You can be ambivalent about Meghan, Duchess of Sussex - these threads always get nasty and lack nuance.

And took naked pictures of her and then put them on the Internet. Meghan fans' heads would explode if that happened to Meghan. You could only imagine the comments it would incite. No woman, neither Kate nor Meghan, should be harassed like they have been.

I completely agree with that. I think it's horrendous and can completely see why Harry is pretty unforgiving of 'the media' as a whole. They did the same kind of thing to his previous partners including trying to find out under false pretences whether Chelsey had ever had an abortion. None of them deserve it.

Just to point out how ridiculous and sexist this poster is being, here is the dress Kate was wearing on one of the occasions where she was upskirted getting into a taxi. Obviously a knee-length sheath dress is exactly the kind of outfit you’d choose if you were intending to deliberately flash the press 🙄

Nope that’s not the occasion. Believing or disbelieving me is beside the point. The pictures exist and are periodically posted. Most recently on Twitter when William was trending in relation to pegging or could have been because of some other controversy that led to a furore.
