Harry looks haunted. He knows it is wrong on a deep level. I don't know if he can carry on with it

Looking at picture in the Daily Mail I can't see that at all (and I'm sure they'd post them if they had them).

He looks fine and dandy from what I could see. I don't see any evidence of an emotional struggle or inner angst.

He's quite happy on his gravy train it would seem and let's face it, he bought the metaphorical tickets even knowing what they would cost re: his family.

I thought he looked quite pleased with himself too. Which is odd given that he said that he finds flashbulbs 'triggering'.

One theory could be that an American who could care less about the RF made the trailer and didn't know the difference. 😂

He doesn't look haunted, he's happy enough with his lot. He's got a beautiful wife, making some dollars. In his mind he's got it all, life is great. But it's all smoke and mirrors isn't it? Once the novelty has work off and he's rehashed his story for the umpteenth time, where does he go from there?
It's a fascinating watch and I'm grateful he is choosing to share it with us. Better than any soap opera.

What on earth are royalists so worried about ?

Well I'm not a fervent royalist, nor am I worried.

However, seeing two people lauded for their limited contribution to causes (which has for the most part been self serving) gives me the ick quite frankly.

Surely he's pleased with himself because all the awards he's been given must make him think he's done the right thing. I don't think he's imbued with much self-reflection and worry about others so I think he's quite self-satisfied. On his date night. 🙄

I think he is learning to put on a Hollywood front but not perfected it. People who are famous for the sake of being famous usually do badly and you don't even see the crash coming because of the polished act. I hope that wont happen here.

How many people all over the world are going to sign up for Netflix just to watch this?

I imagine very few.

The existence of this 'documentary' was only confirmed last week. I doubt there was a mad rush to sign up in that time. Plus, unless you've got very 'niche' viewing interests, it's not the sort of thing people will watch for the viewing pleasure. It will be all about them making fools of themselves and spilling royal tea. That will be all over the web this time tomorrow. No need to sign up to watch it.

Plus, don't you still get a month free with NF? Even allowing for the fact that this pair's ability to capitalise on their dwindling royal connections seemingly knows no bounds, they surely can't get another series whining about the horrors of royal life, can they? It will be one and done. Surely.

I’d hate to live a life just consisting of accumulating millions (or billions) instead of just enjoying the fortune you’ve got.

But they’re not accumulating anything @BellePeppa, their outgoings are so significant Harry basically admitted during the Oprah interview he was forced into all this to keep the lights on. The rumours are they parted ways with Sunshine Sachs because they couldn’t pay the bills. That’s almost the saddest part, selling your story to keep your head above water financially- what happens when people stop giving a shit about “your truth”?

It's sad because that is the lifestyle she wants (and expects after marrying a prince) and he always wants to please her. It is also similar the level of wealth and luxury he has had since birth. There is nobody to issue a reality check so it is the pragmatic thing to do to sell whatever you both have of value to the highest bidder. I hope they don't end up bankrupt

Given both M's parents went bankrupt, that would be history repeating itself. Perhaps she doesn't have a very good grasp of financial facts generally. Harry has never had to handle his own finances, so between them they probably don't have much idea what they're doing.

They have huge outgoings, I don’t think their income has been as high as they had hoped.

There has been a lot of staff turnover too in their archewell organisation, which makes me think all is not well

They have clearly adopted the mantra, you have to spend money to make money.

We’ll just have to wait and see, KC is rumoured to have closed the bank of dad despite protests.

I think they would be happier in a much smaller house and away from publicity, but it's their choice so I hope they make the best of it and are happy.

I just can’t get my head around that 2 months ago they were front and centre at the Queen’s state funeral and now have accepted an award for standing up to racism within that very family, it beggars belief.

I do get the feeling she absolutely loves it and really doesn’t care if the publicity is good or bad. I can imagine her jumping out of bed every single morning and raring to go to feed the publicity and money machine while Harry looks at the ceiling, sighs, takes a deep breath and pulls himself out of bed to start the Groundhog Day all over again.

They didn’t need to buy such an expensive house. Ariana Grande, who is far more successful than these two, lives in the same area in a house half the price of theirs. I know he’s used to palaces but even then they only live in a section of it. They wanted the optics of living in a very grand looking house but it must cost a fortune to upkeep and they must be rattling around in it considering they have so few family or friends to fill it. He never had to think of cleaning costs, gardening costs, cheffing costs, nanny costs, utility bills before but he does now.

I’m sure they will explain it away as being respectful to the Queen, who they were always careful not to criticise, but yes it does look a bit two faced 🤷‍♀️

School fees will be coming up too. Archie is already at nursery. They also have private jets to pay for and have to run all those SUVs they are so partial to.

And security.

If you were so worried about being able to pay for the high level security you believe you need, wouldn't you go for a smaller residence, perhaps in a gated community? Those sprawling grounds look like a security nightmare.
