Unpopular Opinion - William and Kate

Don't come at me, I'm sharing my unpopular opinion because I want to know what you all think but just don't see a spark between William & Kate.

Loved them since the day they starting dating way back when they were undergrads at St Andrews but I just don't see their connection in pictures and it seems a little forced when she has her hand on his back or when they do hold hands.

I don't expect them to hold hands and snog because I know they're mostly photographed whilst they're working but he looks bored and she looks like she's trying her best.

Does anyone agree with me?

The context is different and to be clear I'm not condoning his actions and he will have suffered consequences I'm sure but he will no doubt have had half a year's salary from that (maybe more) that's the business he's in. Selling celebrity vids to a media hungry for them. Just have a gander at the sidebar of the mail absolutely full of it and sometimes you will find a celeb throwing a punch but they still flog it. He would probably have been better ignoring it or calling up his security to send him on his merry way.

Ignoring it would be difficult I think.

I also suspect that if he’d got security involved there would be some on here calling him out for getting heavy handed/being a big I am/saying it goes with the territory or whatever. The bloke can’t win.

I still think the kids should absolutely be off limits in their private time.

And everyone needs downtime. I know I enjoy just drifting in the shadows when I’m not at work.

Sidebars I avoid if I can. Usually around Strictly time or perhaps during a gripping tv drama. For obvious reasons.

The Mail is the absolute pits clucking morality when it suits it and then salaciously spouting clothing malfunctions and bikini stuff like soft porn in their grubby sidebar.

I don't know. I hear what you're saying, that by speaking to him, he increased the value of the tape. But I quite admire him, and Kate, for saying it's not on. I can't think there's a parent on here who wouldn't think the same as William. You've only got to read the furore on here when a mother in law sends a picture of their grandchild to a friend....

Many of the celebrities who appear in the Daily Mail sidebar have called the paparazzi themselves to a pre-arranged location to get their pictures in the paper, you realise?

It was discussed on 3rd division news sites but studiously ignored by anybody of any authority.

According to comments this pap was particularly persistent. British, as well you would have thought he would have known better.

This pap was stalking them and had been spotted lurking on the edge of their property multiple times. He was apparently also using a drone.

Too much time on my hands and he was named in one of the comments so looked him up. He has taken his YT channel down so the sites hosting his content are probably nicking it. He's probably so chastened by his shennagings he will never consider doing anything similar again. You just don't do that without repercussions.

Terry is obviously a scrote. Not exactly sure why pp is so keen on defending his actions. TBH if someone had acted that way with my family they'd be wishing themselves well away. You can't honestly think what he's doing is right? It may be legal - It shouldn't be.

Also not exactly sure why some posters are so keen to have William and Kate in a failing relationship. Why would you take pleasure in that? It's obvious from the pictures online that they have a strong, comfortable, loving relationship, that's twenty years and going fine. Antelopevalley, you've posted numerous times about Kate and her fake smiles, William looking bored and disgruntled, not affectionate or loving. It's very obviously not true. What are you hoping to achieve? Do you want their marriage to fail? Why?

Their marriage may be fine. I ALWAYS say we have no idea what is really going only. These people are strangers to us.
But they do not look in love or look affectionately at each other in public. OP is correct.

I would never wish a marriage, especially when there are young children will fail. But many on here openly say they want Harry and Meghan to split up.

I’m not sure that then makes it okay for some to make sweeping judgements, nippy observations and to choose to create copious threads about another royal couple though.

Please do not accuse me of lying. I will repost the times you've said these quite nasty things if you want me to. There have been several pictures posted on this thread of them looking affectionately at each other. There are many more on line. They appear to be very comfortable and happy with each other. I'm not sure why you think otherwise. I would have thought as you don't like posters commenting negatively on Harry and Meghan's relationship you'd perhaps be more circumspect commenting so adversely on William and Kate's long relationship.

I'd also be quite interested in what you believe looking 'in love' means? Some starry eyed Hollywood representation, or the more down to earth supportive, understanding, communicative, equal relationship that happily married adults have?

I don’t want H & M to split up. Just to shut up and stop whinging about how hard their lives are.

No personal issue, just noticed your (and others) disparaging comments on some threads. It seems odd, when you are so vocal about anyone criticising the relationship between Harry and Meghan, that you are ok doing the same thing to William and Kate. Why is that?

You are being very personal.
I am not criticising their relationship. I am saying how they look when they are together in public.
It is a leap to then infer what their relationship is like in private. A leap I did not make unlike some others. And yet it is me you personally attack.
