Unpopular Opinion - William and Kate

Don't come at me, I'm sharing my unpopular opinion because I want to know what you all think but just don't see a spark between William & Kate.

Loved them since the day they starting dating way back when they were undergrads at St Andrews but I just don't see their connection in pictures and it seems a little forced when she has her hand on his back or when they do hold hands.

I don't expect them to hold hands and snog because I know they're mostly photographed whilst they're working but he looks bored and she looks like she's trying her best.

Does anyone agree with me?

This was taken today. Kate looks happy enough to me and her look suggests live and affection. I wish someone would look at me like that.

@LondonWolf Absolute rubbish can she do all of that? She cannot just go and call a friend and go down to the local coffee shop without having to have protection officers and thousands of people trying to take her picture or run after her
I’m not really a big fan of Kate and William But I’m pretty sure she can’t just go down for a trip to a local next or whatever Store she likes for a browse at a whim without having to pre-plan a special operation with about 20 protection officers police involvement police motorcade and not to mention having to go after hours when the store is shut..I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. As for a jog are you really suggesting that Kate can go for a jog on her own in any park she wants ? As That was what I was insinuatingI don’t think so

Why so aggressive? Is it really necessary? Confused

I'm afraid it is you who doesn't know what you are talking about and your tone suggests you don't want to actually have a discussion or pleasant exchange of information, so I won't be bothering to engage . Have a lovely afternoon.

plot twist: it's later discovered she was smiling over her husband's shoulder at the hot and chonky bodyguard.

I'm seeing clingy and him moving away ...

I think it’s quite a reach to try and diagnose the strength of a couple’s relationship based on how they interact while at work (any couple!) but here’s a few photos of William and Kate from this year when they aren’t officially at work - William playing polo in July, and then photographed as they were walking from their hotel to get to an official function on their Caribbean tour.

I think Williams probably intolerable behind closed doors and kate has been looking stressed and underweight for years ..

Why would you think that. Do you know him?

antelopevalley · 14/10/2022 19:12

I do not think they look as if they love one another. It is not about pdas. Look at Charles and Camilla. They do not live together and do not do PDAs, but you can tell they love each other from the way they look at each other. The love and affection is just obvious.

I agree, William is leaning away from her.

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 19:14

As is the affection between William and Kate. Obvious.

Just like the inevitable naysayer posts.

Obvious.

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 09:06

It may not have broken any laws.

Still a shit thing to do.

If he was following and filming a Joe Public’s kids on their bikes, he probably would have found himself eating his camera. And rightly so.

Are you condoning violence? Because no neither DP nor I would physically attack a photographer.

MaulPerton · 14/10/2022 19:17

Evidently not that intolerable given that someone has managed to tolerate him for X number of years.

antelopevalley · 14/10/2022 19:20

@ArcaneWireless I just don't see it. Kate always looks like she is acting with exaggerated smiles. William looks either bored or disgruntled. He very rarely looks relaxed and content, never mind looking affectionate and loving.

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 19:23

no, not me personally. I have no children.so don’t twist my words.

But you pick on the wrong person and follow their kids clicking away, then I’d have no sympathy.

Some on here have had enough to say when it was H &M. No one should be harangued by a stranger when their attentions are clearly not welcome.

Take the virtue signalling elsewhere.

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 19:24

No need to @ me.
Your intentions are evident and I have no interest in your opinions.

Oh boy, why not get a mind reading device too!

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 19:29

Mind reading devices are of no use when some think they know everything anyway.

You are allowed to photo in a public place period. It's not a matter of opinion it's a public right. He may have been hugely annoyed and the video had no market in this country as no one would touch it and no doubt the photographer has had everything bar arrest reign down on his head. This wasn't Joe Public either but a future head of state with more security than we could ever imagine. Royals have no more legal rights than us plebs (oh I forgot Prince Andrew - they are pretty much above the law !).

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 19:38

I know vera

I have the pleasure of this as I my job.

However, I’m not a child and when I’ve asked people to stop, almost without exception they have. Usually because they’ve realised it is poor form and unfair on the person I’m with at the time.

Creepy as following and photographing children when their parents have requested the photographer to stop. It doesn’t matter who the children are or who their parents are.

There are enough photo opportunities and releases to leave them alone.

Just because it is a public right does not make it right.

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 19:39

As I do my job.

vera99 · 14/10/2022 19:40

To some grubby pap of low morals then that's probably worth 20k in the international market without raising a sweat. Just saying.

MarshaMelrose · 14/10/2022 19:43

Williams argument was that because the guy had been hanging around their home and now he was following and tracking them, it was tantamount to stalking. Would you like it if someone followed you around your local town, constantly taking pictures of your children and publishing them on the Internet?

ArcaneWireless · 14/10/2022 19:44

Grubby is appropriate sadly vera
