Harry and Meghan doing alright in the US, continuing their universal service

notanotheroneagain · 12/10/2022 07:24

Have heard a few comments from panellists and commenters thinking that Harry somehow wants to come back to the UK?

I highly doubt this. I think they are doing more than ok in the US.

A pity a positive thread has been deleted regarding the podcasts, maybe the positive conversation can continue here?

In particularly I wanted to highlight the announcement that they will be recipients for the Robert J Kennedy Human Rights award.

“When The Duke and Duchess accepted our award laureate invitation back in March, we were thrilled. The couple has always stood out for their willingness to speak up and change the narrative on racial justice and mental health around the world,” Kerry Kennedy, president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, and Robert F. Kennedy's daughter, said in a statement shared today. “They embody the type of moral courage that my father once called the ‘one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change.’”

How much nicer that someone like @notanotheroneagain defends them than posters who seem to spend every waking moment knocking them, ridiculing them, thinking of yet another way or new turn of horrible phrase to denigrate and criticise them for stuff from years ago that really does. not. matter.

Why do posters care enough to spend this much time and energy slagging them off.
That's the question that needs answering.
You don't pay for them. They don't affect your life and yet there's a whole band of posters who cannot stop this horrible habit of spending years calling them every insult imaginable.

I am glad to see however you recognise that racism is at play in some cases. That's a start.

I know which side I'd rather be on though. And it's not those I've described above. Just live and let live.

@notanotheroneagain

Why are you so very vested in defending H&M? Are you paid to do it? Are you defending Meghan because you think she needs your protection from racism? Are you a second child as hard some by as Harry likes to make out?

Why do you care about them enough to put THIS MUCH energy into speaking up for them?

You would sound more genuine if you asked the posters who are glaringly in all over every thread to denigrate another woman. In fact they are all over the royal threads, sometimes taking their weird mission all over mums net.

Ohnonevermind · 25/10/2022 07:18

Perhaps a more important question is why some people when faced with credible evidence refuse to believe it.

The latest defence ‘you spend too much time posting’ to try to shame people away with a side order of ‘some of you are racists’ is rather nasty and seems co-ordinated as a number of posters have suddenly jumped on it.

New PR approach ?

notanotheroneagain · 25/10/2022 07:22

@Serenster you keep your insults to yourself.

Dredging up a deleted thread that you know I cannot repost - it was William, btw and he was not short, he was kneeling, you can see in his knees .

Trying to get another positive thread deleted by starting a bun fight I see. Why is your thirst to hate this woman not keeping you on your hate thread anyway.

And as for the other posters still moaning about an event that happened over 2yrs ago, linking talks that have nothing to do with anything just to prove what exactly?

@notanotheroneagain

You’re quite happy to denigrate Kate and her relationship though, which is pretty much the same

notanotheroneagain · 25/10/2022 07:31

@Roussette I always think it shows what kind of people they are in real life. And I would cross the road if I were to encounter them. Imagine obsessively hating someone who doesn't affect your life, I can't imagine what it's like to be in their real lives.

And how many times do I post about Kate ?

I don't hate or even think about her enough to trawl every thread about her daily constantly inserting her name in unrelated threads.

Anyway, back to H&M.

They are indeed thriving and doing well. Looking forward to the new podcast today.

@notanotheroneagain We have heard it all before.

Coronateachingagain · 25/10/2022 07:45

Just remember though - Meghan is an activist and altruist..... the relentless spend on media is amazing. Doesn't look is doing quite well if you have to push the message so much does it!

will the lucky listeners get to hear the P&G fantasy story or the dancing in the streets fantasy story, or paying for all her college fees fantasy story - perhaps she has new fantasy stories ready for them - the lucky ducks

notanotheroneagain · 25/10/2022 07:49

Judging by these threads, it does seem you need a reminder tbf.

The thread wasn’t deleted. Your photo was though (presumably because the allegation that it was William when it obviously wasn’t was defamatory…)

notanotheroneagain · 25/10/2022 08:10

It was deleted 10 pages later, after William fans put pressure on MNHQ - mostly I'm guessing because they also saw it was him.

Anyway, aren't you breaking MN rules taat. And what has this got to do with H&M and this thread anyway.

OP posts:
Blip · 25/10/2022 08:26

notanotheroneagain can you please quit with the "obsessive hating" accusations at other posters, it's unnecessarily inflammatory language and also just not true.

Serenster · 25/10/2022 08:31

It has to do with the fact that Meghan and Harry, when senior working Royals, used a work engagement to pitch for work for their personal benefit, in breach of the rules of ethics governing their activities. Something which you have consistently sought to deny despite the clear evidence being posted. Your consistent, and to some inexplicable, denials then developed into a discussion of the fact that despite ignoring clear evidence when it is against Meghan and Harry, you are happy to make quite ludicrous allegations against others (and double down on them, as you’re doing here).

This is relevant because actions like this were one of the reasons why many people (not just those posting on these threads, but generally) don’t have much time for the couple’s protestations that they were badly treated in their time in the Royal family. They have shown us many times by their own actions what their values are. Some of us believe that, not the PR narratives they are spending so much money on selling.

The obvious bias of some of their supporters doesn’t, to my mind, help their cause. I have no expectation that anything will change, though!

You think accusing someone of being a liar and a fantasist for saying something which demonstrably happened is being nicer?

And then, when asked for evidence and is given it, goes on to disregard it and call people names, is being nicer?

That’s not nice behaviour, is not redressing the balance, it’s denying something that’s factual, and calling people name.
I don’t understand the need to do that personally, you can have empathy for someone without resorting to denying reality

notanotheroneagain · 25/10/2022 08:43

It looks like you are the one doing the defamation now. So, you are giving yourself an excuse to doubt everything that H&M did during their time as working royals, was in regards to them trying to make future money.

This will help you spin that all their success is based on them having layed down patiently like a python, plotting throughout their work. Well if that works for you..........but stop trying to make it like it's fact when it's just your imagination.

They did a lot of good work for charities and made the charities money, so they don't close down.

Anyway you do you.

You have a platform for that, not sure why you want to spread it on here.

The facts of the matter are Meghan kept her US Management who tried to generate deals on the back of her new Status.

Ohnonevermind · 25/10/2022 08:54

When she was a working royal - message sent early

The photograph was of Zara and her then boyfriend Richard Johnson celebrating after the European championships and she was dressed as Pan Am Cabin crew. He is not kneeling in the pic, you can see all the way to his bare ankles.

so many lies! Proper barefaced ones. Amazing!

well said. I would add that while I don’t tend to read this Notanotherone’s posts any more due to the lies, I read the replies.

I would say the replies to this poster tend to be more measured (not all of them; there are a few rude, poorly informed rumour mongers who will revert to tattle levels of aggression about M&H) but on the whole, those who are able to articulate why the Sussexes have fallen short on their PR drives or why some of what they say is not true, the awards being down to Sunshine Sachs etc, intricacies of the legal cases (and so on), I find really interesting.

And more persuasive than someone trying to claim that a jockey in Italy is Prince William. Obviously.
