The last thread filled up during a particularly chatty morning.

Not as cringe as using her platform on the African tour to complain about how hard she had it. Tone deaf and v self absorbed. Can’t blame the media for that one or William and his lack of statements on that one

DFOD · 01/10/2022 17:10

For me also the Bradby interview was the first time my toes curled - it was that performative doe eyed and breathless thing she was doing - I imagine to evoke sympathy - but I also sensed underlying glee / panic / excitement ? that she was doing something with vengeance or that she knew crossed a line that she hoped to get away with / plausible deniability?

Ohnonevermind · 01/10/2022 17:13

@DFOD

Perhaps the doe eyed breathlessness was down to the heater fumes 😉

As for posters trying to make out that KM has some sort of speaking skills or whatever. She has been preparing for her role for over 20yrs now, and she still finds it hard to speak without notes.

She also dresses like a 60yr old with her button dresses.

Regarding how she dresses why don’t the men get the same comments all the time. Much more interested is what she says then her dress.

Jibbajabba1 · 01/10/2022 17:16

Is the book expected to contain accusations of bullying from Kate and William? Or just Meghan Harry and Andrew?

Jibbajabba1 · 01/10/2022 17:21

@Rocketclub
Bizarre isn’t it, those professing to be such ardent Meghan supporters have engaged in such horrid misogynistic attacks against Kate. Similar to what Meghan herself did during the Oprah interview. In fact, there does seem to be a pattern of punching down on women.

It’s the hypocrisy that stands out to me. Harry’s racism and Nazi outfits, then lectures from him about racism.
Meghan commodifying herself by pandering to the male gaze, punching down on women (from bullying aided to throwing Kate under the bus) then lecturing us about feminism.
Both of them with giant carbon footprints lecturing us about the environment.
All smacks of vacuous virtue signalling.

Readinginthesun · 01/10/2022 17:32

Back to the book . Were any male aides( allegedly) bullied ?

I think you miss the point. There is no one among us, whether you proudly label yourself ‘a born and bred Brit’ or any other such label, who has lived a faultless life. Therefore, it’s an act of hypocrisy to point out any perceived failings of another person – particularly if you lack the humility to recognise your own.

P.S. you appear to be as accurate in your assessment of my nationality as you are in your judgement of H&M. I am indeed British – ‘born and bred’.

Ohnonevermind · 01/10/2022 17:38

@jeffgoldblum

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes this is absolutely what I can't stand.

jeffgoldblum · 01/10/2022 17:45

I have indeed lived a flawless life , if you haven't that's up to you! , I also haven't @ you so please don't do it to me! , as I said to another poster on another thread , find any posts I've made that has directly criticised m !
In the U.K. , we don't normally chastise others with flinging religious quotes at them! , it doesn't wash and is rarely used by anyone who follows there own advice!

@jeffgoldblum

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sorry I had a rather awful few months when my mum was drawn into the Jehovah's witnesses, when I was young , it was awful and triggering , so I lose my temper when people use religion to justify bad behaviour!
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ohnonevermind · 01/10/2022 17:50

@jeffgoldblum

I’m so sorry to hear that 💐

Ohnonevermind · 01/10/2022 17:50

They’re just a pair of chancers.

Harry with his new found stance on racism? Shame on him for having to be reformed in the first place. And it’s not just the Nazi outfit and the ref to P*. He also made reference to the ‘ragheads’ after he’d been in Afghanistan.

Meghan and her peculiar brand of feminism? The very suggestive video by her for Mens Health is still available online and It says a lot about how far she was prepared to go in her quest for fame along with her feminist credentials.

jeffgoldblum · 01/10/2022 17:55

I have reported your posts for targeted bullying! , refrain from posting at me !
Particularly as I've posted bugger all about H&M , so why are you targeting me? 🤔

Ohnonevermind · 01/10/2022 17:57

And the constant exaggeration or lying about everything.

what next, i’m expecting her to reveal soon that queen rang from her death bed to ask Meghan to make a bio pic about her for Netflix.

jeffgoldblum · 01/10/2022 17:59

I’ve already made MN aware about the strategy used amongst posters on this and related thread to get anyone with a view that does not support their own removed from the discussion. Anyone that expresses favourable opinions towards H&M or challenges criticism of the couple is either bullied off the thread or reported on frivolous grounds – this being another such example. I will happily discuss the matter again with MN if and when necessary.

Readinginthesun · 01/10/2022 18:05

For a while both the previous thread and this one were really interesting discussions . Shame that some people try to shut them down .
