The last thread filled up during a particularly chatty morning.

I haven't seen that...Will take a look on You Tube.

American humour again?..So totally set up.
As if someone would just turn up at a house like that {that is likely gated normally}
No one would ask to use the loo like that .. with cameraman following.
It's rather cringe, the whole lot.

What on earth are they playing at!?

@notanotheroneagain

trademarking, company formation etc is public record

Trademarking is also a run of the mill thing. People will squat on your name if they can - this was demonstrated particularly with the Sussex, when someone was making money out of Sussex Royal.

Everyone, sensibly trademarks.

Oh man. I’d forgotten the Ellen thing. Cringe. Worse than It’s a Royal Knock Out!

so true we don’t need Express screenshots of articles, we can form our opinions based on what we see and hear straight from the horse’s mouth. And there’s plenty of material.

"Yet have a view of her personality - it's clearly based on what they read from the rags."

I base my opinion of Meghan (and Harry) entirely on what I see and hear coming from their own mouths in interviews/podcasts, e.g. the Tom Bradby interview (how on EARTH did she think THAT was a good idea), Oprah (least said about that the better), her recent podcasts and the word salad speeches she makes.
Oh, and as for the cringe-making, supposedly "hilarious" Ellen skit!!!

I take newspaper opinion with a very large pinch of salt, unless it is robustly backed up by impeccable sourcing.

Same here. I don’t access such sites and disregard any of it that is distributed on here.

There are plenty of “unfiltered” opportunities as PP have indicated where my opinion is influenced and I also consider action and follow up otherwise it could just be vacuous, opportunistic, self aggrandising and self serving virtue signaling.

The highbrow liberal progressive media in both the U.K. and US (including the Guardian, Washington Post, New York Times, CNN etc) have all posted disparaging reports recently on H&M behaviours.

jeffgoldblum · 01/10/2022 16:44

God knows! Awful wasn't it! , I was squirming in my seat when I saw it! And to quote my young dd ' it was a cringe fest!', also would like to add to previous post , I had hoped at this point woman were no longer judged on thier appearance anymore and rather thier actions instead!

notanotheroneagain · 01/10/2022 16:45

What's the problem now?

on these threads..............

  • h always looks angry and unhappy.
  • he and MM do some cheesy pisstake on themselves, but that's a problem too. wtf

Ohnonevermind · 01/10/2022 16:38

@smileandjoy

i don’t think anyone on these said she was unattractive, it’s her personality that’s the problem.

Fortunately for her, her husband and all those she chooses to share her life with don’t agree.

She's beautiful but I don't think she's "stunning" Confused. I see just as beautiful girls here in London every day. I don't think Kate is stunning either but they both have a presence and charisma and both know how to dress...mostly. I think Kate's main wedding dress was better but Meghan's evening wedding dress/look was flawless.

I agree. My opinion of M is based on what has come out of her mouth, starting with the Tom Bradby interview.

Yet, you dismiss that she was shook up about the smoke inhalation that could have happened in 5month old Archie's room.

jeffgoldblum · 01/10/2022 16:54

@SallyLockheart , mine too!
I can't believe how old I feel sometimes! 🤣, I was a youngster only last week, I swear!

Ohnonevermind · 01/10/2022 16:55

I also believe the staff accounts in courtiers of their treatment by MM

A better mantra would be:

He that is without sin among you, let him be the first to cast a stone” (John 8:7).

I don’t think you have to be a person of faith to appreciate its wisdom.

jeffgoldblum · 01/10/2022 16:55

I never get shook up about pre planned questions and answers!

Back to the book, I wonder if VL is going to address the 'rude' and 'diva like ' attitudes of the aides.

twitter.com/royal_suitor/status/1575866804823502855

'Meghan was sweet and nice. ill tell you who was rude and diva-ish though, it was the aides.' not exact quotes. This was from the girl code podcast I just linked above, worth the listen.

Mine too. Total cringe. Couldn't finish watching it.

jeffgoldblum · 01/10/2022 16:59

@smileandjoy , I was unaware that finding something embarrassing and cringy was the same as flinging stones! , however as an atheist I would like to say I find shoehorning religious quotes into things offensive!
I prefer' people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'

This was the subject of yesterday’s thread started by a previously banned poster that got pulled down by MNHQ….something about a door person at an event saying MM was polite and nice?

notanotheroneagain · 01/10/2022 17:06

And did you listen to the podcast?
