Anyone else think The Times should not be printing extracts from this new book about Royal Courtiers at this time? Incredibly stupid given that H&M are trying to mend fences? I feel really quite cross for everyone involved - William's efforts to build bridges etc, all going to be in vain now. Very naughty.

I don't understand why people can't just post their opinion on something without taking it to another level and attacking other posters. It's like dealing with playground bullies. People who post positively about Meghan seem to get attacked here - frequently. Play nicely kids. Be kind to each other.

Decent people don’t like liars and hypocrites. A poster here has been called out for lying and has only conceded to facts are being offered irrefutable truths time after time. It’s a style we recognise.

I’ve been sporadically lurking over the last few days. The Times extracts have been interesting

i think the staff must have been furious at MM talking about ‘having no voice’ when she was using said voice to hurl abuse at them. It’s hardly surprising it’s ended up in a book.

I think Harry used Meghan to kick back at staff. It’s an interesting dynamic.

The most frequent posters on this thread are Couscous, Rousette and Irisversacolour, each of whom have posted over 80 times on this thread so far.

For context the next most frequent poster has only posted 44 times. Sallylockheart has said nothing rude whatsoever and yet has been told to leave the thread. Bullying?

Is 80 posts a lot when a thread is up to nearly 900? And is that something that should be discouraged? It just sounds so weird someone is out there monitoring how many times different people post.

To be frank, I find it a bit stalkerish. Like someone is far more interested in the actual poster, where they post, how many times, what their posting history is... rather than the actual content of their current post.

I don't care a fig how many times people post on here, it is irrelevant surely. And going on about this just illustrates to me that it is some sort of stick to beat someone with. Can't work out why or how but I just find it weird.

The Valentine Low book extracts have been fascinating to read. The people he names are professionals with careers. I am sure if those named felt their opinions
were being misrepresented in the book, they would speak out as they have professional reputations to maintain. M and H fans can argue on the internet all day long but this book has shone a light on their true characters.

I’ve not read everything apart from the last few posts.

Some days if I need distracting or I’m have a bed day (RA) then I will post more than others. If I’m busy I don’t. I don’t think that’s unusual.

It seems to me that there is a hardcore of M&H super defenders who dominate these threads and attempt to control the narrative and to shut down posters who disagree.

Well said @SallyLockheart - what’s v tedious is when someone lies and gets found out with facts they don’t have the character to say ‘fair enough’ but instead double down with whataboutery and further derailment…..accusing the other of being unreasonable for finding out the facts…!
