Do you think it would be okay to do my washing and hang it out tomorrow (the day of the Queen’s state funeral), if I stick to blacks?

FFS I'm as Royalist as they come but really couldn't give a shit what anyone else does tomorrow!

Honestly, we are on a UK seaside holiday and we will be in the park or on the beach with 3 children and 3 adults and it will be raucous. They are 1, 3 and 6 and there is no way I’d be keeping them cooped up for the day and once we are in the beach there is little containing them.

it’s going to be a normal day for us, I’ll try and see what I can to pay my respects but life isn’t going to stop.

I think it’s actually very considerate that you would think about what you do on the queens funeral day. We’re going to remain at home and watch the funeral. She’s been our queen for 70 years I think everyone can down tools for a few hours to whiteness her final event.

I think it's ok if you swathe the washing machine with swags of black crepe.
