Will Charles attempt to bring H&M back?

I've been wondering about this all week.

What do people think? Would William want that ? Would Kate?

It's not his decision to make. He was very clear in his first speach as king declaring his love for H&M as they continue with their lives abroad ...

I find that hard to believe.

I think she may have been advised not to drop her acting career but I think that was for her own well being not because the Royal Family needed the money.

My understanding is that Meghan was asked if she wanted to continue her acting career but she decided against it . I cannot for one minute that she was told the RF couldn’t afford her .
Although maybe they had seen her clothes’ bills .

I am shocked that they didn't get a invite to last night's reception. That was surely quite a big event and having two extra people wouldn't have been a huge task? Charles should have extended the olive branch there.

Perhaps he didn't want a the risk of an interview coming out of the U.S. along the lines of, "this is what the King/P.M/ President of Wherever, said to me at the Palace Reception ".

Why Meghan? Surely any request would have been from both of them.
And it must be Charles leaking it. Because this leak is designed to get people ranting about Meghan.

It was something that Harry said to Oprah Winfrey during his time to speak during the interview with her last March.
He said that his brother advised him that Meghan would have to find another job as well as being a working Royal , maybe acting ?
I do remember him saying this as I was surprised they would suggest this tbh.
It was hinted it was to do with money and a slimming down on the public purse.

Or H&M side leaking it so that they can then play victim if things don’t go their way.

Either way, I don’t think there’s going to be a solution anytime soon. Think they’d all do best to have a bit of space and time for reflection first - this will have been an intense 10 days for everyone in the family.

And he was 99 years of age - of course they knew he was dying…..we are all on that road but someone 99 years old, ill and in hospital of course they knew he was dying and that his frail 95 grandmother would at that time be heartbroken and distraught.

That makes zero sense. If they leaked that Meghan had requested a meeting then they are thick. Because this leak is designed to incite the Meghan haters.

I think Harry and Meghan should just stay as far away as possible from family that are shitty to them. Harry is close to some of his cousins, so see them and ignore the rest.

my advice to both M&H is life is too short, try and connect with your family again , living this detached life is horrible, I wouldn’t want it, my family is too important yo me just as my DH & Dcs are.

There was nothing about his brother. He never gave a name, we could only presume that it was the courtiers. Nothing about another job as well as....

That Sean guy is one of the many people who have written biographies on H&M. He went around the palace to get info, so has some contacts there who may possibly feed him information. At the time of his research he consulted sources from KP, CH etc. So this could have come from anyone.

I think the royals would have provided an income but not at the levels that Meghan thought they would. The money Charles would provide would just cover the sushine Sachs costs. Harry should have explained how he got handouts from dad and had an inheritance.

Harry was never going to get the 20+million per year that they need for the lifestyle. Did anyone read the expenditure in the Elton John court case. How much it costs to live this type of life, it’s why he’s still touring.

if Meghan wanted Hollywood a+list star money, she was going or have to earn it Hollywood a+list style and I think that’s what she was told

But they didn't make Meghan continue acting. She wore a dress for engagement photos that cost 60k. There was clearly a lot of money thrown her way.

Do you think they would put Meghan in an ASDA dress? The rest of the royals wear expensive clothes, it would have looked terrible if Meghan had been dressed in cheap clothes.

Harry is always laughing when he is at Invicticus, at his Africa Parks tour shortly before coming over here, when raising millions for his charities through Polo matches.

His sincere friends Nacho (who is more like a brother actually), Stott (forgot his name, army buddy lives near him) have confirmed they meet regularly. The school friend he went to his wedding in the Caribbean, lives in NY and reports they meet up. As well as cousin Freddy who invited him to speak at Goldman. Lots of other supportive friends like David Foster ( a long time friend that Harry considered as his other father), Tyler Perry as we all know. Both organised houses for him as he was getting his bearings together. As much as you may take snark here, the black community in the US takes care of their own. So you laugh at OW, she elevated Gayle and others and connects people she feels are worthy.
We know the cousins have WhatsApp and zooms, we know about the visits. They are all busy, but no doubt are in touch and may visit as and when.

H&M are busy bees............

Why would she want to do that? She quite clearly stated it was her opinion, nothing more (and one that many of us agreed was plausible).

Perhaps instead one of you would like to offer an alternative opinion piece? I agree. Whenever I see photos of him when he is not in Britain he looks so relaxed and happy.
