Do Camilla and Charles live separately?

She was dropped off in Wiltshire. I was surprised they didn't stay together today.

I'm not hating btw just genuinely curious and I kind of admire her for creating her own space if
It's true.

ALSO, because it's driving me crazy, did Anne and Tim separate briefly back in the nougties?

I'm sure I remember it being announced on Sky, but it was never mentioned again and he seemed to continue accompanying her to Royal engagements.

I would absolutely love this, however I dont need a squad of royal protection officers following me around. I think, given the size of their respective homes, they surely should be able to have a wing each and save the taxpayer a wee bit of money?

There were rumours years ago about Anne and Tim separating, but nothing official and he’s always been at royal events.

Agree 100%, in fact he looks to have been a massive support to her this week. He is a quiet and dignified presence who doesn't appear to engage in the ways the other royal husbands/wives do. His reason for being there seems to be to support Princess Anne.

As I said on a different thread, a lot of the relationships described on this site would benefit from separate living arrangements.

I’m pretty old so unlikely to have a new relationship, but if it did happen I would never move in with anyone.

I’m 40, so early middle aged. Happily married, but if anything happened unexpectedly and I ended up single, I wouldn’t live with or marry anyone else. Would be happy to have relationships though.

I remember the rumours Anne and whathisname were separating a while ago. I was also thinking about that in the past week. I remember reading that the royals all treated him like a butler and he got pissed off about it (go figure!).

Prince Philip lived separately with his woman partner coach driver in a cottage at Sandringham. I think they even let her attend the funeral.

The 'woman partner coach driver' was Penny - Countess Mountbatten - a close family friend, with whom he did his carriage driving. They were very close but there is no evidence of anything more than friendship. She is also close to the Queen. She absolutely didn't live at Wood Farm with him - Broadlands is her home.

@theoriginalteletubby I know! I can't imagine what I was thinking when I moved in with my (now) ex! And I am never ever sharing a bed overnight with a man again, (I can just about put up with close twin beds with dd on holiday !)

I think having a separate house sounds blissful. Great to shake up the preconceptions of how relationships should function and pick something that works for the individuals involved.

Anne and Tim live at Gatcombe Park and are seen regularly with her grandchildren. They also dine out at modest establishments.
As pp have said, they love lighthouses and tour around visiting them, often on their boat, sailing round the coast together. They also stay in very modest B&Bs, with minimal fuss. He's supported her dutifully this week, so I would suggest that they are not separated.

He totally would have done that to the Queen.

He had numerous affairs including with Princess Alexandra - they went sailing together as they knew the Queen hated it.

100%! I think it’s a shame camila seems to take the public hate on behalf of Charles for the whole Diana thing. I loved Diana btw but he was the one in the wrong, no one else. He’s proven himself to be a horrible person time and time again it seems 🤦🏼‍♀️
