The irony is that Harry absolutely took center stage today!
He was smack bang in the middle of the coffin walk.

Actually he did, I was interested to see the difference in stance and presentation. He looked fairly relaxed, striding along, purposeful and confident, much higher head, compared to William who looked like he carried the weight of the world

I actually feel more sorry for William, I dont think he wants the job but knows its coming and now he is much closer to it than he was, he'll follow through though out of a sense of this duty

I don’t need the media to tell me to dislike someone. I find nothing admirable at all about how Harry and Meghan have conducted themselves in recent years, and even in recent weeks. You can decide that this is because I am ‘nasty’ - that’s fine. What you think doesn’t mean anything to me.

@elizaregina he could only dream of being the chief, that's a major part of the problem and people can shriek racism all they want about criticism of MM. However, I would argue that wilful indulgence of her poor behaviour and judgment cos she's an American who doesn't understand despite having a degree in IR from an excellent university is quite racist in itself. They damned themselves by their own words and actions in the OW interview, the SA moaning and the 'I can say anything' and hints about a diary in the latest interview. Meghan could be purple and I'd still dislike her, Harry's white and I dislike him. I am white, does my dislike of him for the exact reasons I dislike his wife boil down to racism.

Well, I'm in rural Spain so have managed to miss much of the action today.
But just having caught up with the latest pictures from today I think Megan did a wonderful job under extraordinary circumstances.
I was deeply moved by her actions and reverence today, and normally im critical of her questionable decisions

She often looked like a fish out of water, like she'd rather be anywhere but under global scrutiny.
But she was truly respectful. She was demure yet reverent.
Today I'd like to congratulate her on her actions and reactions under enormous pressure.

I think the way they have behaved (from the interviews THEY have given) and the shit they brought to the Queen's door in her last few years was appalling. He's an entitled spoilt twat and she's a gifted storyteller. Couldn't give a fuck what colour of skin they have.

Today was a formal ceremonial occasion. Hand-holding in the procession by ANYONE, Harry &Meghan OR Zara & Mike, was completely inappropriate.
Harry was no more upset than anyone else there and even if he was, then he ought to have been able to man up and cope with it for the duration.
I'm wondering where the currently grief-stricken Harry's care and concern for his grandmother was last week and earlier this summer, when it is reported that he passed on opportunities to visit her. And how little he has appeared to care for her state of mind and well-being when slagging off everything she stood for in the Oprah mess and subsequent complaints he's made in public.

I'm afraid I struggle to feel much sympathy for either of them at the moment. OK, so they wanted out of the Royal Family firm. They didn't have to torch it on their way out. And they surely can't expect all those they've slated, either directly or indirectly, to welcome them back with open arms.
So, if they're looking awkward now, then it's a case of 'actions have consequences," in my view.

I didn't say not knowing Royal protocol is racist either. I said constantly saying she's American and doesn't understand, can't follow protocol is racist.

@elizaregina There is a difference re personal jewels and state pieces. MM won't have access to state pieces because she is not representing the institution anymore. As others have said, personal pieces were divided equally by the brothers. Kate's earrings today were, like the pearl tiara, worn by but not the personal property of Diana.
