What now for M&H

I find the whole family and royal family (The Firm) aspect of Megxit very interesting.

Just wondering what now for M&H? Will they continue on with the strategy of talking and writing about the royal family or will things now change? I think the half in half out strategy on their terms would have worked for M&H but I think the RF were right to knock it on the head, it would never have worked for the RF, Harry was ready to go and Meghan was never going to just slot in with the system.

Just looking at Harry, I think the guy really needs the whole circus of fighting with the RF in public to stop, for his own mental health. He obviously has issues that he needs to come to terms with, he really needs to do this in private but this is at odds with how they need to make money now. I really fear for him the person.

If they keep going with the fighting then I think that's it for them and the RF. If they are to reconcile with the RF, how then do they make a living? I would imagine QE has left quite a provision for Harry in her will so perhaps the money making aspect will be less of a priority. I could see Charles being more open to a reconciliation but not sure about William.

Not trying to start a thread to bash anyone, just interested in other opinions.

It's a fair question of the Meghan fangirls to ask what they like about Meghan.

Well Camilla allegedly had bread rolls thrown at her & she’s now Queen Consort. Once one of the most reviled women in the U.K. & her image has been rehabilitated.

Some people’s views are so entrenched (I include both camps) that it will be interesting to see what their views will be if there is a reconciliation between the family.

There are generally three sides to a story. The view from each side & then the truth somewhere in the middle. No one is perfect. No one.

AlThough from some peoples views on here Meghan & Kate could both be saints depending on which camp you are in.

Hopefully Harry, Meghan, Charles, Camilla, William and Kate get together after the funeral for a secret burning of Price Andrew’s military uniforms

I think this is the root of all the problems. No ordinary British person could have any idea what day to day life in the RF would be like. Throw in the fact that Meghan is also American so would have even less idea (not being rude to Americans, I mean that there would be no reason for her to know).

My ex-h was from what you would call quite a "posh" family. I had a fairly ordinary middle class upbringing and I found some of the attitudes and behaviour from him and his friends quite strange. That must have been 1000 times worse for Meghan.

I think the sniping is getting out of hand and I think the press are really stirring the pot. I also don't think that Meghan helps herself sometimes though.

It's certainly going to be interesting to see how in plays out with Andrew over the next few days. Particularly after the heckler in Edinburgh. I wonder if he'll play a more discreet role. If not, there will definitely be more heckling.

meghan’s friends include serena Williams and a son of a former Canadian prime minister. both of which have people who would have organised travel.

She travelled in private jets before her marriage, so would have been aware how it worked. She had plenty of glimpses of lives of the.wealthy and connected.

I looked at the pictures of Anne, she’s so stoic, she must be shattered.

The PR people must have had their reasons for setting it up but that walkabout emphasised the problem rather than covering it up

No matter how you explain this they will always take the most misanthropic view - this will be turned around and presented as her general contempt of the British public (as opposed to wanting something just for the two of them)

I doubt the views of 4 male fame hungry opportunists who are desperate for views will give anyone any ‘clarity‘. Regardless of any expertise they may have, they’ve sold out with a YouTube channel where they seek views through the latest topical witch hunt. Eg, the McCanns, Amber Heard

Those people have more autonomy than the RF - it’s not about the private jets it’s about not being able to just do it. Serena can fly to the UK right now if she wants to - a member of the RF would need permission first. That’s the difference.

So I think we agree that Rachel Meghan Markle has a few narcissistic tendencies & a mediocre actress (try getting through 30 mins of the daters handbook without help of alcohol).

Its really difficult to explain - I’m really keen on fairness and I feel that regardless of what this person does some people will build it up into the worst.thing.ever!

Another thing that bothers me is that Meghan bashing for the sake of it seems to be a sport. Her dress sense is ugly, her figure is bad, she smiles too much, her voice is too sing song, she ran a lifestyle blog (which makes her unserious), she’s interested in charity (but she’s faking), she cares about issues (but she’s a hypocrite for caring and she’s fake anyway), she was an actress (but second rate and anyone can act anyway), she’s earnest (no one likes a try hard), she’s self assured (must be a narcissist), she once held a party to celebrate her first pay check (how dare she give away her old clothes), she was an ugly duckling because she had frizzy hair and a gap tooth (why is she insulting black people), she was a loner and so became an overachiever (liar), ad infinitum and ad nauseum.

Meghan is not perfect and she has made mistakes - I’m just not sure this justifies the sheer level of negativity sent in her direction. People compare the other royals who of course have had to deal with similar however Meghan attracts headlines by the 100 fold daily.

Many Meghan “fans” have and do criticise Meghan - I have done so many times in these threads but because I do not call her names or attribute the worst of motives to her actions people who hate her cannot conceive of anyone being able to hold two thoughts about someone at once.

I would love for someone to take my passport away and deal with travel arrangements visas passport queues etc. that is why her passport was taken away, just a practical matter. Now she just pointed out at it for the drama but either she doesn't understand or doesn't want to that it is a practical point. Same thing with the flowers, she just wants to reinvent the wheel every time - and be the hero for it

Everyone would love for people to take over life admin - most people struggle with loss of autonomy that is the very real difference. Once in the RF you lose that - absolutely for security reasons but you cannot state that it wouldn’t bother you or at least understand why it would bother someone to always have to ask for permission to do something that they could do without a thought before.

Yes. All of this. I’m definitely not a ‘fan girl’! In fact I find both of them a bit annoying!! And certainly think they’ve made mistakes.
It’s the relentless criticism and bitchiness that I find bewildering and makes me want to stand up for her.

Maybe it’ll all be okay eh? They’ll see past their differences and forgive each other.
Honestly you’d think people WANT them to be miserable
