What now for M&H

I find the whole family and royal family (The Firm) aspect of Megxit very interesting.

Just wondering what now for M&H? Will they continue on with the strategy of talking and writing about the royal family or will things now change? I think the half in half out strategy on their terms would have worked for M&H but I think the RF were right to knock it on the head, it would never have worked for the RF, Harry was ready to go and Meghan was never going to just slot in with the system.

Just looking at Harry, I think the guy really needs the whole circus of fighting with the RF in public to stop, for his own mental health. He obviously has issues that he needs to come to terms with, he really needs to do this in private but this is at odds with how they need to make money now. I really fear for him the person.

If they keep going with the fighting then I think that's it for them and the RF. If they are to reconcile with the RF, how then do they make a living? I would imagine QE has left quite a provision for Harry in her will so perhaps the money making aspect will be less of a priority. I could see Charles being more open to a reconciliation but not sure about William.

Not trying to start a thread to bash anyone, just interested in other opinions.

This is my prediction.
M&H will have to go back to California.
They are really unpopular in the UK now and there is no way that M will be able to stay her with her having to take her place in the hierarchy behind the Princess of Wales.

H will write a new chapter of his tell all book all about the Queen's death and how badly he was treated by the RF at this time.

M will give more chat show interviews featuring further "truth bombs" and lies (which are nonetheless her truths).

All interactions with the RF will be recorded in Meghan's diary as "content"
to be monetarised.

Both will continue to posture as climate change campaigners whilst continuing to take private jets to polo matches, living in a mansion and have some of the largest personal carbon footprints on the planet.

Both will cling onto using their Royal titles whilst attacking everything the RF stands for. Both will continue to try to monetarise the privilege afforded to them by respectively birth and marriage.

Both will continue to "build their brand" based on the values of kindness and compassion even though their own behaviour within their own families seems notably lacking in either kindness or compassion.

Unfortunately the main feature of Brand Sussex looks to be hypocrisy. Perhaps that might go down better in the USA than in the UK.

So Andrew has completed his vigil not in uniform. Is he doing another or are we to presume the 'PA wearing uniform whilst Harry told he can't' is perhaps bollocks?

My point is that H&M don't really have any option to live in the UK anymore.

If Andrew is allowed to wear his uniform at the vigil as a mark of respect then Harry should be able to also. I know they have had their honorary military posts taken away but both have seen active service and had military careers and should be able to wear uniform on that basis. Both or neither. I hope someone will rethink this.

Basically carrying on as they have been then. No change. It will be very depressing if this is the case and nothing changes, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

I'd be very surprised if they want that option.

I agree otherwise it will give H and M something else to complain about - with some just justification on this occasion.

They could. But I don’t think Harry would want to with the press. Can’t blame him really. He’ll get more privacy in the very posh part of California he lives in.

The Duke of York was not in uniform at today's vigil

He might wear it at the vigil at Westminster Hall, but they say not at other events.

Is Harry keeping a vigil? He won't be at the one by her four DC, but perhaps he and the Prince of Wales will be taking part in another one (but who would make up the four?)

@Snog I really hope your prediction isn’t correct, the idea that they might be making notes on what’s happening right now to add to Harry’s book/provide interview fodder is horrible. It would be far better if they go back and get on with building their lives in California, they’ve been there for 2.5 years after all!
