Following on from the Podcast threads. The sad news about the declining health of the Queen is of concern.

RIP Queenie, you devoted your life to the country right up until the very end. I hope you are now back with your 'Rock'

There's a rainbow 🌈 over Windsor which was fitting.

Along with her beloved mother and father and her sister.

RIP Your Majesty.

I'm glad that 2 days ago she was alert, standing and smiling, although I'm sure the last few months were difficult.

Sad news but to be in the place you love with those you love is a good way to die.

I was there was a 'like' button.

RIP HM Queen Elizabeth II.

My thoughts are with her family at this time.

ITVnews reporter just referred to "His Majesty the Queen" twice, when trying to talk about Charles. It will be so difficult to process that she is gone.

Condolences from an American who really loved QE.

My dad died a few weeks ago & had his funeral 2 weeks ago. It was expected but it’s still the death of a parent no matter the age, it will be no different for their family ❤️

Liz Truss sounded like she was reading something she wrote in a hurry , in the manner of a schoolgirl.
No emotion, completely robotic. What a disaster she is.

Boris’s words were really quite beautiful.

I quite suspect that she did write it quickly. She has been on the job exactly, what, 3 days?

I thought she sounded just perfect.

Boris had to 'outdo' Liz. He'd probably had that speech written years ago and didn't want to waste it.

It was fine. I thought I heard a little catch in her throat but who can blame her.

Her speech was as it should have been. She did grand in the circumstances.
