Quite confusing, as Kate is supposed to be Catherine to her followers. But what do we say about Camilla ? 😂

I will tell you though that as long as MM is that, not Duchess of Sussex, I will refer to the other as KM too. And Camilla is ...............what the hell is Camilla ? 😂

He was always going to leave the RF

He's ended up doing exactly the same things as when he was in the RF - he plays polo, gives an occasional speech and has set up a foundation and charities. Why was he always going to leave?

Because he was unhappy within the RF? He said so. It's on record.
He leads a rather different life now, the freedom must be immense. I know you won't agree but it's true. He can go where he wants when he wants, he couldn't do that before. He can hold a job, he can live where he wants. If they want to up sticks and live in Canada or Africa or Switzerland they can.
I honestly can see one of the two Cambridge children who can, doing the same.

She also presumably wants to be near her friends and her mother. If her political ambitions are as the tabloids say they are, they need to live in America too.

I agree H has carried on doing the same things as he did before, within different parameters.

I don't see how he can live wherever he wants to, when he doesn't think it's safe to visit the UK.

But I do agree that there is every possibility that one of the Cambridge children will want to take off and do their own thing, and I hope that growing up their parents and wider family encourage each of them to learn and develop so that this is a possibility, if they choose this different route. Accept that it might be tricky if it's George!

Think a little deeper Rousette. How is someone who will not visit the UK as they are worried about security, able to live 'where they want'. This surely would not be possible due to their own concerns.

I am happy to be corrected but I don’t recall Harry saying he was unhappy within the RF prior to them fully leaving .

It's not that I don't believe you (I think that you are trying to see the best in people, which is a whole other thread). It's that I can't persuade myself to understand the narrative of 'the leaving' in ways that they want me to. All I see is evidence that they are 'scamming' us. The others scam us as well but we get some positives back, however little, whereas it's just one way with these two. That is the reason why they are not liked - and it's not just on MN or in the UK, as far as I can see. We can't all be wrong.

I don’t think Harry can live wherever her wants as his wife wants to be part of the Hollywood and he loves his wife.

I’m guessing with finances they can’t yet afford multiple homes (of the standard they would like) yet as most Netflix deals don’t pay large sums up front (cost plus)

ir would make sense to have a European base which is a quick trip to the U.K. once they have the money for something suitable and a lot less hassle to visit than the U.K.

Save your breath, Reading - this is the glaring inconsistency that nobody ever wants to address

In fairness there's a distinction between the institution and the actual family, but "collaborating" in their work would certainly involve the first and that's what was supposed to be so awful that they had no choice but to leave completely

Harry was never happy. At one point he was interviewed in Africa. Him saying how happy and welcome he was there.

They asked for the half in, with them away from the UK, and were told to fuck off. So the message was clear, you deal with all this shit we hand you or nothing.

Maybe Harry thought when he got older and married, he would be viewed as matured and they stop with scapegoating him - so much for that.

Also, while they may be on par with A and SF for 'scamming', H & M are currently younger, better looking and keep on doing wacky things (so many), which are all the ingredients that go into making someone interesting.

I was doing a mental list of who in the RF we get a return on (they all 'scam' us by taking inordinately large amounts of money off us). We get nothing back from A and SF, as far as I can see, and there will be other minor royals who benefit from the system but don't give back (Zara and her brother, the York girls?), but, in terms of the principals, I would put A, SF, H & M on the same list.
