As the other thread has filled up I wondered if anyone would like to discuss the book here. I’m listening to it on Audible now.

I am not trying to see you off the thread and I am sorry if you think that . I was just rather hoping that you ( and others) might see that the blinkered devotion is …..odd .
have a nice day .

What is 'odd' is the blinkered obsession that MM is some evil devil.

What are you trying to prove anyway. Spend so much time on this woman? is she a killer, peado ? What?

Just an everyday woman trying the best she can to make the world a better place.

BTW, to someone else who posted earlier, 'woke' simply means not being a bellend.

Ohnonevermind · 11/08/2022 09:54

Make all the comments you want, but as you’re all over a thread about a book which you haven’t read, your comments are rather pointless 🤷‍♀️

notanotheroneagain · 11/08/2022 10:00

Absolutely not.

I'm not going to go out and buy a book that has clearly collated all the blind gossip about Meghan. The only thing that is pointless is this book.

notanotheroneagain · 11/08/2022 09:43

Does not replace him at all.
They all work together.

Edward Young was pushed in, back in 2017 - when Sir Christopher did not want to go - Charles doing the pushing. Shortly after the wedding, they deployed Simon 'I don't know anything' Case, who then left straight after the exit. Byline did an article where they stated the links to JK and Christian 's boyfriend - Callum as the on who leaked the exit to Dan Wootton. They saw his paid receipts from the rags.

All your article proves is that EY is the one who denied the Sussexes security and still they lied to H and said it was a Home Office decision alone.

Bower's wife is a toryMBE in the House of Lords. She was also BoJo's advisor - hence Bower's book on Bojo and his hatchet job on Corbyn.

All roads lead back to the palace.

Goodness the article I posted wasn't to prove anything. It was the first thing I could find with any mention of him. I'd never heard of him.
Harry doesn't want to hear the word 'No'. And the Establishment are saying no.
Good.

notanotheroneagain · 11/08/2022 10:05

Nothing 'good' about it.

His family is in danger . Since the same family leaks so much about him, I guess Archie and Lilli life don't mean anything to them.

Ohnonevermind · 11/08/2022 10:10

@notanotheroneagain

I just don’t have any of them on pedestals, we can see the good and bad, which I’ve spoken about, which Tom Bower has spoken about it his book if you read it

Snapshots are just re-inforcing your own prejudices.

I listened to Tom Bower on the radio (ireland) and he spoke about living in a one bedroom flat in London as his parents were Jewish refugees fleeing Prague as the broadcaster asked him about his upbringing. I liked him, I would have liked to head more about him as his upbringing sounded interesting

I know what's blinkered and it ain't the devotion! It's the ummmm what shall I call it.... 'dislike'

Enjoy your day too. I, for one, have something horrible happening this afternoon so this thread is keeping me away from thinking phew

Roussette · 11/08/2022 10:13

Thanks for allowing me to post!
I presume you have read the book cover to cover? Because if not, your comments are 'pointless' too!
If you have, well done !

I haven't, but I've seen loads of excerpts.

Roussette · 11/08/2022 10:18

TideTimeSea · 11/08/2022 09:47

Actually I provided the names of two directors.
But you are pricing my point, I shouldn’t have to provide any names - they are all in the book and this thread is to discuss the book.

I missed the two names. I saw one.

Do you honestly think it is OK to say that someone has to read the book to comment? When they (me) have seen lots of extracts, they've seen the stuff that was untrue highlighted, they have read and researched it, they have listened to an interview with the author, but not read it cover to cover?
That will wipe out a lot of threads on MN with such narrow criteria.

So... for instance, Gordon Ramsay is in a cooking series, and everyone has to watch it all before they can comment that they don't particularly like him, or they love him.

Sorry, MN forum does not work like that.

Well they live in the USA where all sorts of people are allowed to carry guns. Here in the UK not so much

And their security is allowed to carry arms etc. in the US. So?

I also saw the one name of Jean Malek.

Can't be too worried, cause the guy photographs old people having sex. Could MM have found him creepy AF?

Whatever, Bower picked this straight out of twitter. The guy was engaging with trolls on this, I did not even see her name, though I assume he was talking about her.

That doesn't negate the greater danger

Ohnonevermind · 11/08/2022 10:49

@Roussette

I have read the book cover to cover,
if you just read ‘snapshots’ posted wherever you get your news (hello 🤣) it will just reinforce your views from your reading of choice

i remember reading the Donald trump threads during those crazy years. I did balance my reading of choice WP and NYT with some forays into fox for balance. The truth often lay somewhere in the middle (far closer to WP/NYT) but still they sometimes twisted facts too

I’m in ireland so find the Irish times quite balanced but I still check other sources

My first boss always said - never get comfortable, move things round.

He posted about her over 6 years ago on FB. It was definitely a clash of personalities by the looks of it, we all have people we don't gel with, this one went public with his beef about her.

Roussette · 11/08/2022 10:55

@Ohnonevermind

I read all sorts I can tell you. Your boss is correct.

CathyorClaire · 11/08/2022 10:59

I agree that being part of the RF is a thoroughly miserable existence

And yet so few of them bail.

Well, it turns out they are not the ones accused of.... dealing with Russia

The Vancouver bolthole has been linked to a Russian oligarch and the Montecito monstrosity was sold to them by another.

You don’t read the books themselves though. Just make judgements about them.

Correct!

I will not sit there and read a book that is designed to 'bring her down' (his words). I have seen lots of extracts though.
And yes, I will make judgements about this sort of book, especially when the aim of it was to damage her and there were far too many discrepancies in it to make it a valid read for me.

Tell us you read the rags, without spelling it out.

First of all, Mille Fleurs is not owned by Yuri Milner, nor is he or has ever been accused of being an oligarch. He works in Silicon Valley. His wife did own a company that brought a few properties in the area. When she died back in 2013, she wanted them given off for good cause, so Yuri and his family are not benefactors, they have nothing to do with the properties.

Grishin and his wife were going through a divorce.

But over everything, you forgot that Harry not being a working royal anymore, how is he selling cash for access in all this. After all, don't you guys bang on about him 'trashing' his family ?

The other royals, literally sold titles and access for favours !

Serenster · 11/08/2022 12:05

Good to see them in the press today following their usual M.O. - making a donation in return for an award/nomination for an honour….

Roussette · 11/08/2022 12:13

Can you prove that?

As I understand it, they've been involved with donating to Afghanistan a while

We're not talking.about our cash for honours RF which is known and fact

Roussette · 11/08/2022 12:15

Rather a slur against HumanFirst Afghanistan too

Serenster · 11/08/2022 12:17

Can you prove that the donations Prince Charles accepted were the proceeds of crime?

Roussette · 11/08/2022 12:19

No. But the cash for honours is fact isn't it
No idea what you're on about with proceeds of crime
