Catherine not wearing her wedding ring?

Did anyone else notice that Catherine was not wearing her wedding ring at the Commonwealth Games? Seemed strange.

Maybe they had a row. Maybe they were in different places. Maybe they can’t stand each other. But I’ll say this

i sometimes don’t wear my rings. Means nothing if I do or don’t. I have a little dish for them on dressing table & often forget to put them on in the morning.

do you spend your time poring over photos of Kate with your stated bad eyesight ? Or did someone post this on a different forum and you ran with it without checking ?

I’ve read speculation that a separation is on the horizon and they’re getting things in place. Hence moving to Adelaide Cottage, where Catherine and the children will live while William stays in London.

I take my wedding, engagement and eternity rings off to sleep. Maybe she did the same and forgot to put them back on. Or they’re just annoying and she didn’t fancy wearing them.

I think they will stay together.
Many Royal couples live apart, like Charles and Camilla and the Queen and Philip.

I read it on a website that follows stories on celebrities and royalty. It’s only speculation though.

Personally, I think they will never divorce. Live apart yes - Charles and Camilla do - but divorce no.
So maybe this new house is "her" house?

Charles and Camilla don’t live apart , she has a bolt hole where she sees her family and he is often at Highgrove but they are still very much a couple .
We have a second home and I quite often go without DH but we most definitely don’t live apart !

I know Charles and Camilla are clearly a couple, I was not suggesting anything else. But Camilla does live in a different home. There are articles out there that clearly say she spends most of her free time there. It is her home. It is also a short distance from Charles's preferred home of Highgrove.

A holiday home is different. Ray Mills House is Camilla's house about 15 minutes' travel from Highgrove.
That is fine.

Rubbish, they've looked closer than ever recently and if a separation was on the cards they wouldn't be doing all the joint family jaunts.

There was a time I'd have believed this based on their body language at public appearances but not recently

I do not think they are separating, but they do not do that many joint events. The ones they do are high-profile events such as film premieres, Commonwealth Games, and high-profile sports matches. I always assumed this is simply because they both want to enjoy these fun events.
The low key events they tend to do separately.

All Royal couples do things separately as well as a couple . HM was not always accompanied by PP , Charles and Camilla etc . I once attended an event where Sophie spoke ( she was excellent) but Edward wasn’t there .
Even your favourite couple sometimes did things separately.

Not at all. I specifically said if the other poster is right and William and Catherine are largely living in different houses, this does not mean they are separating.
Philip and the Queen lived in different houses as does Camilla and Charles.
William has a family template for that kind of marriage.

I have zero idea if the poster is correct. I was disagreeing with her conclusion that this means they are separating. I think it means nothing of the sort.

Surely the reason William and Kate don't do many joint events is that there's currently a something of an unexpected staff shortage in the Royal Family, and they can't exactly get a supply princess in to cover until George is old enough to open a provincial leisure centre.

I’d be amazed if William and Kate were to separate. She’s part of the UC ‘put up and shut up’ now. Plus, whatever his peccadilloes, they seem quite a close couple. It would be the death knell to a RF already on its knees in terms of popularity and burgeoning republicanism.
