My memory is excellent thanks, as you well know, as you're the one muddling up posters
rousette you did mention the article A while ago, i remember it well as I replied to your post, you then said something about not reading it properly , i said but why did you just run with it then and post about it without checking news sources ? It was something about their early dating days that it wouldn’t last or how it was on the rocks or something , you said it showed up on your feed without reading where it came from or something along that line, i and few other posters can’t be dreaming this up surely ,

Gilmorehill · 24/07/2022 09:36

@lot123 Pulling down that window was quite revealing. She loves being in the public eye.

Roussette · 24/07/2022 09:42

@queenofarles I wasn't actually talking about that with my post you quoted, but thanks for the info.

Readinginthesun · 24/07/2022 09:47

If all the drama and and grievances are removed , what do they actually talk about?

I actually agree with @Roussette ( it had to happen😃). On the face of it DH and I have nothing in common. Background, education, politics etc . When we got together NO- ONE thought we would last but nearly 40 years later we are still happy , have loads to talk about and rarely argue . Often about DC and DGC but other stuff too.

The source for most of the details of Meghan’s first date with Harry, as well as all her dealings in London in the run up to that meeting, is Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, who seems to have been acting as her agent (though this is confusing as Meghan seems to have had several people acting in this capacity, and it’s difficult to tell who was actually employed by her and who was just a useful contact).

Anyone know anything about Nelthorpe-Cowne and views on whether she’s likely to be a reliable source?

Gilmorehill · 24/07/2022 10:08

Is she the one who worked with M when she first came to London and was then ghosted when M met H?

Gilmorehill · 24/07/2022 10:08

Is she the one who worked with M when she first came to London and was then ghosted when M met H?

It's hard to know isn't it? Given that pretty much everyone pre Harry has been "disappeared" out of M's life.

Gilmorehill · 24/07/2022 10:49

Every day this week a different negative # about M has been trending on Twitter. I don’t know much about how you get things trending on Twitter but it’s a bit sinister.

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 24/07/2022 10:56

I bought this in Tesco for £11. Haven’t started it but I’ve flicked through and it does seem a bit panto-villian ish. I think I will read it as something g of a fan fiction book rather than the objective truth. Let’s see if H&M take legal action!

KatharineofAragon · 24/07/2022 10:59

Apparently the Sussexes have been invited to Balmoral and staff have been told to prepare for their arrival. More media claptrap or is there something in it?

Readinginthesun · 24/07/2022 11:09

I honestly cannot see Meghan going to Balmoral . It’s a stunning area but I really cannot imagine her there battling with midges and charades after dinner .

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/07/2022 11:10

More media claptrap or is there something in it?

The report's come from The Scum, so decide for yourself Wink

Lolliesareonme · 24/07/2022 11:14

Here’s the first mention of Gina N-C

Womenandwomenfirst · 24/07/2022 11:33

They might helicopter in to Balmoral for the day for a few photo ops posing in tweeds amongst the heather, but I agree that deer stalking, charades and stout brown shoes sound like Meghan’s idea of hell!

Gilmorehill · 24/07/2022 11:37

It’s my idea of hell!!

SnottyLottie · 24/07/2022 11:45

i wonder if Kate & Meghan did/passed the Balmoral test?

I don’t think I’d pass it, sounds awful up there.

Readinginthesun · 24/07/2022 11:54

I live not too far away and love the area but it’s not for everyone especially city lovers . One thing I will say is that the locals leave the Royals alone and are very protective towards them which is why there are rarely photos of any of them there .

SnottyLottie · 24/07/2022 12:05

I feel the same about Gina N-C.

It seemed fairly balanced until her testimony. Meghan was portrayed as a kind, hard working woman who could be a bit controlling at times. Now she comes across as rude and demanding. I wonder if she had a personality change when she met Harry and went into full diva mode. Or else Gina C-N is holding a grudge and painting Meghan as a diva as revenge (probably something to do with Meghan allegedly asking her to do special media relations work for no pay and when Gina refused she started to ghost her).

I suspect the truth is somewhere in between.

MaulPerton · 24/07/2022 12:13

KatharineofAragon · 24/07/2022 10:59

Apparently the Sussexes have been invited to Balmoral and staff have been told to prepare for their arrival. More media claptrap or is there something in it?

An entirely performative invitation designed to send the opposite message to the Sussexes - "Don't come".

Last time H & M accepted one of those, they picked up the moniker 'Second-Row Sussexes'. They are only recently back from the UN debacle. The Balmoral invitation report states that other key family members won't be there so, if H & M accept, they risk reprising their secondary status by being labelled 'Second-Tier Family'. They won't come.

KatharineofAragon · 24/07/2022 13:05

I would be astonished if they went. Harry never went before he met Meghan so I don’t think it’s his bag either. Absolutely the last thing she would enjoy.

Readinginthesun · 24/07/2022 13:16

@KatharineofAragon of course he went , in fact he was there when he received the tragic news that his mother had been killed.

Readinginthesun · 24/07/2022 13:17

Also , I am fairly certain he took Cressida Bonas to Balmoral.

antelopevalley · 24/07/2022 15:18

Readinginthesun · 24/07/2022 13:16

@KatharineofAragon of course he went , in fact he was there when he received the tragic news that his mother had been killed.

He was a child then and had no choice about where he was. He is now an adult.

Readinginthesun · 24/07/2022 15:22

And as an adult he also visited ! As I said , locals are protective but he was seen and I am fairly sure that Cressida was there .

antelopevalley · 24/07/2022 15:26

@Readinginthesun The press said Harry was going to take Cressida to Balmoral as he was going to announce his impending marriage soon. There is no media I can find that says he did take her. And given these stories all talk about their impending marriage, I would take them with a big pinch of salt.

If the Queen really did want to invite Harry and Meghan to Balmoral, she would not do it via the press.
