Obviously the book is not going to go in to lunatic conspiracies.
In the book, some of the things Tom Bower judges her for, I'm not feeling the same level of judgement he does and I imagine a lot of women will feel the same. I do think Meghan has behaved in ways that haven't served her since she met Harry so not a huge fan of hers but for example Tom Bower says how she didn't want to model for Reitmans because it only paid 15,000 per day for three days filming and after tax she'd get about 21,000 canadian dollars and that could / would have an affect on her brand, which she wished to be higher end than Reitmans.
OK, I get that! It's a business conundrum. It makes sense to weigh things up, think about where you're headed and ask if short term decisions will impact upon longer term aspirations. So I don't judge her for wondering if modelling for reitmans would damage her chances of getting bigger better contracts later.
Other things, like Elizabeth Nyamayaro not making the introductions MM requested and not giving her the positions she applied for, and Emma Watson rejecting the opportunity to meet her............ I kind of admire how MM has never let the rejections deter her. She described the women who rejected her as mentors. I think she is a bit of a narcissist but many successful men are bigger narcissists and it goes completely noticed.
Listening now I'm just reminded that she is very ambitious. All wrong for Harry, but being ambitious and having conflicted feelings about modelling for reitmans aren't portraying her THAT badly imo.
So far.
