@ancientgran you aren't the forum police. If you ask where the pictures of a child's sibling are on that child's birthday, you may get answers that are not to your liking. It's quite simple really.

I asked a simple question, I was told I was implying Louis wasn't there, I was told only one photo released. Neither true.

Maybe you could just ignore questions that don't suit your requirements?

@AngelicaElizaAndPeggy managed to give an informative reply to a question. It's quite a civilised way to do things.

She looks lovely and Meghan looks very happy. No make-up, clearly dashing around, very normal. I'm not really bothered about who was there or not but the DM has been chuntering about Kate and William being invited and snubbing them, rather than 'oh no, we're in Cardiff that day' 'Oh that's a shame' being the conversation which is probably what happened. Family is family and if Harry would stop giving interviews to US media I think they'd all eventually get on fine. People say ridiculous thinks about H&M and W&K on the internet; it must get so exhausting and frustrating.

Even if they wanted an informal shot the composition could have been better (seeing her feet would have made her look less of a puffball) and the hair band thing looks badly placed. Was it just a 'snap' he took in passing? Surely someone could have tidied her hair?
Given they are unlikely to be issuing many official photos of their kids I think if I was Meghan I'd have wanted something a bit more polished than this as her first birthday photo.

The black & white one of Meghan and her friend and the kids is much nicer.

Yes normal to have one person ask a question and another give a reasonable answer. I'm sure H&M would ask and W&K would respond as you suggest. People love to create a bit of drama though don't they.

ValarieCupcake, I made a mumsnet account just to say thanks for saying that. The “white knights” are equally as mean as the “haters”. As a lurker who likes to follow the news but isn’t invested in either side it’s pretty annoying. I understand I could go somewhere else if I don’t like it but there are some very thoughtful neutral posters who I like.

The pageant was Sunday, the party was Saturday and apparently Zara and her kids, and Peter and his kids were there.

The Cambridges were in Wales that day.

Other than one baby photo (at 6mths, where you can't even see her properly) they have kept her out of public view for a whole year, not even a new born photo was released.
The cynical side of me thinks that Harry and Meghan didn't like being pretty much ignored over the jubilee weekend... Did this prompt a change of heart?
Do they want some attention?

I think because red hair is recessive, requiring both parents to carry the gene AND pass it on (around a 50% chance).

That's why it's relatively rare (1-2% of people have red hair).

It would seem that Meghan carries it from her dad (as her brother is also red headed, I think).

Both kids are super cute.
